We fell upon this restaurant by accident when out on our last night and decided to try it on the basis of the TripAdvisor certificate displayed in the window. We found the food to be very good and the service was both friendly and attentive. One drawback was the choice of wine - it seemed that much of the listed wine was no longer available, indeed there were more items excluded than were still in stock.
Nonetheless we very much enjoyed our meal and can understand why this restaurant has been consistently rated so highly by TripAdvisor users. In a city where you can sometimes feel that you are being treated in a slightly offhand manner the staff here make you feel like you are very welcome.

The good reviews of this place tempted my party of three but we were a little underwhelmed. Small portions and quite expensive. Small place with generic music sounding like the radio on in the kitchen did not help to inject atmosphere. My tuna steak came medium rare and I asked for medium. Other food was good though. There are better places to eat.

Great food here, with friendly service! I had the goat cheese salad and it was delicious, my father had the duck and it was great too. The service was great! The waiter seemed bothered by some questions but I think that was because of the language barrier.

We wandered into this restaurant without a reservation on a Saturday night and was graciously seated even though they seemed to be nearly full. Most times when that happens, you get 2nd rate service for not reserving. But not here! The place was well staffed and we were never left waiting for drinks, food, etc.. They were always checking on us, the attention was great! The food was good as well, not your standard Czech prepared meal even though there were traditional items on the menu. The only negative I can say is they were out of the wine I liked but they offered a substitute that was fine. The ambience is cozy/eclectic , nicely decorated with soft jazzy music. Really enjoyed it! Outside seating as well.

We dined here on recommendation from our hotel. This is a really good restaurant for what it aims to be - not "fine" dining, but really good quality food in a nice atmosphere.
The food is French influenced Czech, and very flavoursome and of high quality. Not just traditional pork and duck.
The wine list is wide ranging and interesting. We chose a Moldavian red wine on recommendation, and it was fine and reasonable price.
The room and outside terrace are lovely, with a very nice ambience.
Staff - excellent, enthusiastic friendly.
Overall, recommended.
