The hotel is perfectly positioned - every tourist sight in the Old Town can be easily reached by foot. Very quite neighborhood in spite of the central location.
Big, spacious rooms which include a small kitchen equipped with all the necessary dishes and even pans (it could be very good for those travelling with family). Rooms are very clean though I believe some carpeting would be nice, especially in winter, since the floors are marble and can get quite cold.
We did have some problems with heating which were solved rather quickly. As for the WiFi connection, it is unfortunately quite poor.
Breakfasts are quite nice, nothing special - cereal, eggs, cheese, ham, some vegetable and fruit, - but rather tasty.
Personnel extremely friendly, most speak Russian as well as English.
Overall, for a very modest price of €50 (in the hot season before Christmas) we got even more than we anticipated. Definetely will suggest this hotel to all my friends.

very nice hotel, big rooms and bathroom, everything really clean. Staff very nice and helpful, helped a lot with directions and maps.
location was most important, close to everything in the old town, you just had to walk 2 steps.
Great hotel, hope to be beck soon :)

The hotel is so handy to the Astronomical clock and Square in a reasonably quiet street. Great value. Helpful front desk. Clean but basic. Separate kitchen with fridge and cooktop, but the cooking pots were awful. Beautiful bathroom. Went to the opera and paid only $70NZ for the best tickets which was a highlight of our stay (the Opera House is breathtaking). Took the train to the Bone Chapel independently which was amazing....much cheaper than a tour. The breakfast was excellent....cereals, cold meats, cake! I recommend this hotel as excellent value and so convenient. There are many poor people on the streets so if you have food left over from your holiday don't through it in the bins, give it to those who need it.

Room Tip: Stay away from the stairway.

Nice clean hotel with everything you need in it for a great self catering experience. Unfortunately we never made the breakfast any of the mornings so couldnt comment if it was good or not. Staff seem friendly enough. The main attraction for this hotel has to be its location...literally 100 meters either direction is wenceles square and old town square. Three of us went and we would move to prague in a heartbeat what a place it is! go go go!!!

The hotel is situated within a short walk to the Old Town Square where the Astronomical Clock stands. It is also very close to the Estates Theatre where we saw "Don Giovanni". We made the mistake of asking the hotel clerk, Patrick for directions to the theatre by showing the tickets to him, which he read. Then, he sent us to the wrong theatre (National Theatre on Narodni instead of the Estates Theatre) which is much further away from the hotel. So, we ended up missing the first half of the opera,

All the hotel clerks were kind, friendly and spoke English. Our wakeup calls were promptly met. The daily breakfast buffet was more than adequate and jumpstarted the day with a good variety of foods to choose from.

Our sleep was disturbed by the sanitation trucks as well as partying hotel guests entering the hotel late at night. Also, the church bells go off on Sunday before 8AM. Our room had a small TV without a remote control. The hotel clerks were aware of this but did not furnish our room with a remote control for the TV.

Room Tip: If it is possible, request a room facing away from the church if you want to sleep in late on Sunday...

Great location, only a block to Old Town Square and a few minutes walk to Charles Bridge and New Town. Very large clean room with huge bathroom and a kitchenette. Breakfeast was basic, front desk was 24 hours, safe location. Had back facing room which was quiet day and night, even with windows open.

Room Tip: Back facing rooms are quieter.
