We attended a photography exhibition at this museum/concert hall/cafe. The exhibit was very nice; really enjoyed it. Concerts are held here too but we did not have time. The cafe looked very welcoming. Overall a fine experience and worth a stop. A good place also for a quick restroom break and to check out the opulent interior.

We obtained tickets to hear a performance by the Prague Radio Orchestra which was being broadcast live from the concert hall. The Hall itself is magnificent and the acoustics perfect. The two halves, Schumann and Stravinsky were both professionally and sympathetically played and we had the most wonderful and uplifting evening in beautiful surroundings....and at a very reasonable price.

The Rudolfinum is a lovely building. The concert offered was not of good value. We were given a flyer with a concert of popular orchestral music, which we would have enjoyed. It was very poor value. The top seats were 1100csk. The concert lasted but and hour by a small 5 piece string set. They were excelleant musicians but I felt cheated somewhat. We had booked a ballet the following night at the same price in the National theater, in a box and it was brilliant.

With less respect to the concert we were at, the building and the programme is really outstanding. Long lasting experience :-)

Drop by and watch a good performance of "The Best Selection of Classic" in between all the sight-seeings. No formal attire required. Depending on the season, you can probably go for a stroll along the river and catch the sunset before the performance starts at 7.00 p.m (Friday to Monday. May have changed). Performance was good.
