“Delicious! Hidden gem but not once people get to reading these reviews!”
Reviewed May 5, 2012 via mobile

We stayed in Prague 3 days and went to this place 3 times! My favorites were the duck and the schnitzel (they call it fried pork in breadcrumbs) and the potatoe croquets were delicious as we're the fried potatoe. The second time we went I got the honey cake and of course no matter how full I was the third time I got it then too - I craved it! They were super quick with the service too and very willing to assist.

“Hidden Gem!”
Reviewed January 2, 2012

We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by accident and decided to give it a try on our last night in Prague. We were SO glad we did! Having just trekked up and back from the castle (where food is EGREGIOUSLY overpriced), we were famished and this unassuming little joint hit the spot on time and on budget!

They serve tasty, traditional Czech dishes at at least 1/2 the price of competitors in the area--clearly a "local" spot.

Service was prompt and friendly, and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed his/her meal. We will be sure to return on our next trip...

“REAL Czech Eatery - Great for Lunch”
Reviewed October 8, 2011

Not far from the bustling tourist center, we found this small restaurant. Service was immediate (though they seemed a bit amused by the Americans that wandered into their midst.) Food was true Czech cuisine, with plenty of more mainstream items available, too (i.e., salads, schnitzel, etc.). Prices were fantastic (as evidenced by the plethora of locals). Lunch was so good that our party returned the next day for another great, uncrowded, well-cooked and served lunch. Not fancy, very relaxed, and highly recommended.
