“Great place to stay in Prague”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2011

Me and one of my best friends stayed here the first week in December when in Prague for 4 nights. We found this hotel to meet our needs it was walking distance from the major sights, free breakfeast with several different food choices, wireless internet, clean, friendly english speaking staff. We enjoyed making tea and coffee in our room since it was very cold when we were there this was a great amenity.

No problems encountered while staying at the Clement. Food is OK. we stayed on the BB basis. The breakfast was eggs, milk, fruits, sausages, that sort of staff. Clean. The room was ok. double bed. A bath (rather then shower). Hairdryer. TV, mini bar. Cheerful reception staff.
There is a great Czech restaurant nearby. U Sadlu. Always busy and full so you'll have to make a reservation. Beer and huge meals. Mostly meat but I liked it.
Hotel is close to the historical part of Prague. 20 minutes walk to the Charles Bridge. 10 minutes to the Staromestka square. 20-25 minutes walk to the Vazlav Square. 10 minutes to the Na Prikope Street which is one of the shopping streets in town.

we had a 3 night break at this hotel. Check in was easy and polite and friendly staff were there to help. All the staff spoke good english..which helped!
It was probably the cleanest hotel that we have ever stayed in. Towels changed daily and rooms immaculate.
Modern and trendy furnishings.
breakfast was good...typical european breakfast.
I realised that rooms had comfy feathered pillows and by the 2nd day did start to become allergic to this (as I do have an allergy) so my husband asked if they could give us other types of pillows but the staff quickly moved us to another room where there were no feather pillows,,,that was much better for me!
(Apparently they do have non allergic rooms for people who do have allergies to feathers!!!)
2 lifts to rooms also.
well located to easily walk to centre and shops. Local food restaurants very close by (which we did eat in) These are cheaper than in the centre.
Quiet location so no outside noise at all.
highly recommend!

The hotel Clement was just what we needed for our short stay in Prague. The room was modern, very clean and bright and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is up a quiet side street, just under 10 minutes walk from the main town square and even less to the Jewish Quarter. We enjoyed the short walk to the Old Town Square as we found a couple of interesting places to eat and drink on the way in. The breakfast wasn't the most amazing hotel breakfast we have had but we enjoyed it nonetheless and there was plenty to choose from. We were really pleased as we had asked in advance for a room with a view and were given a room on the 8th floor where we could see over the rooftops. A great hotel which we would stay in again - good value.

We have just returned from a Christmas holiday to Prague. We had originally booked to stay at the Jurys Inn but unfortunately we did not have a good start to the holiday. First of all the taxi did not turn up to collect us from the airport (prague airport shuttles) and then after negotiating the bus and underground we arrived at the hotel to find that they had shut down for the holiday period. Apparently all agents had been told about this a month ago but no one had bothered to let us know. Anyway the manager got in touch with the Clement Hotel and got us in there. As it says above, everything was really good there. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the location was also excellent - only a couple of hundred yards from the river and very close to all the major attractions. The beds were really large and comfortable and it was really quiet here - we weren't able to hear any noise from outside. All in all we were very pleased with this hotel and when we return to Prague would have no hesitation in staying there again.

This hotel was tremendous value for money.....I must have gotten a great deal on the price because I was travelling out of season.

Location: The old town square is about 10 to 15 minutes walk. Charles bridge is about 20 minutes walk away. If you arrive by train or bus at the central station, and you only have a backpack or light luggage, there is no need to get a cab or use public transportation to locate the hotel....its a 20 minute walk....this is importatnt considering I heard the cab drivers in Prague can't be trusted.

Room: The room is very simply appointed....not much in the way of decoration. I shared a king bed with a friend....comfortable and clean sheet. The room was clean and spotless. ***THERE IS FREE WIRELESS INTERNET HERE!!!!*****...awesome!

Breakfast: This was included in the price and it was an awesome spread....lots of cold and hot items to choose from (eggs, sauages, vegetables, yogurt, fruit, clod meats, cheeses, bread....etc).

I can honestly say I had no problems with this hotel.

Nice clean recently modernised hotel in a quiet location not too far from the main tourist spots. Our allocated room was overlooking the aircon unit, asked reception to move and luckily she managed to juggle the rooms. Receptionists were all helpful and polite.Breakfast was more than adequate and waitresses constantly replenishing food and tidying away used plates. Would recommend the hotel and would certainly use again if i revisit Prague.
