we stopped here for a bite to eat for lunch and a drink.

The food and service was ok, until I asked for the bill, they didn't want to give me a paper copy, only bringing out a calculator with a price on it, which showed a price 300 too high on a meal that should have been 275.
Wasn't worth trying to argue as their English that seemed so good when they enticed us in deserted them....

Extremely bad food that tastes like nothing and looks awefull combined with high prices and a 30%!!! service charge that is not mentioned anywhere. We first didnt to pay for that, but they said they will call the police. So at last we payed, because it wasent worth the trouble.
DONT GO THERE!

I live near this restaurant and every day I hear people being disappointed and cheated out of their money by the waiters, staff and chef. Do not go here, it is bad and it will ruin your trip to Prague. This restaurant was fined the biggest fine in the CZ for overcharging and ripping off their customers! The staff do not care if the food is bad, if you have a bad experience or if you don't feel like they have earned their 20% tip, you are a tourist and you will never come back so they will steel as much money from you as they can. My advice Keep away! Not everyone in this city is like the people who work there, so find another place to eat.

This place looks quaint on the outside and inside. But don't be fooled! They are interested in one thing: tricking you out of your hard earned cash! And watch yourself...because you won't know you are being robbed until the bill comes. Then, and only then, will you realize you have been fleeced. That bottle of water you ordered? That is 180 czech koruna or $9!!! A bottle of water. Heck, I can buy a decent bottle of wine for that! Oh, then let's not forget the 50 CZK per person cover charge, and my personal favorite, at bill time the waitress presents you with a calculator with the suggested 20% tip math done for you so you are sure to give her extra money on top of the already misleading price. So, two people eating a pizza and a pasta (which were just soso tasting) cost a total of almost 1000 CZK. 50 dollars for crap! Awful food and a total ripoff. They should be ashamed of themselves! Ripping off tourists must be funny to them. They can rot in hell.

This restaurant was the only disappointment during a wonderful week-end spent in Prague. We decided to try out the local goulash, which is why we fancied this restaurant as it looked inviting from the outside. The fact that they were playing BeeGees songs (the good & the bad!) on a loop, gave us a clue that it wasn't really a local eaterie after all. Although we waited ages for our main course, we avoided the pretzels on the table as we suspected they'd be added to our bill. To drink, we had 2 small lagers & 2 glasses of local white wine. We only ordered a main course of goulash each which amounted to 6 chunks of beef in a sauce with "American potatoes" which were extra. This wasn't stated on the menu. The bill came to the equivalent of £60.00 which was absolutely extortionate for what we'd had. No credit cards accepted - cash only. We left hungry & annoyed. Avoid at all costs.
