“Very modern. But negatives points also.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2011

Positives and negatives about this hotel really.
Very new, clean and modern. We stayed in one of the deluxe suites. Cant complain about the cleanliness or comfort. These were excellent. Only negative about the room was the lack of a TV in bedroom. TV was situated in seperate room. Huge bathroom and bath robes supplied. Mini bar reasonably priced
Breakfeast was what you expect. Cold meats, cheeses. Bacon, scrambled egg and smoked sausages. Not a big breakfeast person, so was enough for me.

Reception and bar area lacks atmosphere. Not the kind of bar where you would wish to spend some time relaxing and having a drink. Never seen anyone sitting relaxing or having a drink during our 3 night visit.
Location of the hotel is not too bad for visiting Prague. Depending on which route you take, you can be in the Old Town square within 10 mins on a good walking speed. Wenceslas Square is only a 5 minute walk. Not the most welcoming of street where hotel is situated, but no experience of any trouble etc.

Never had many dealings with the staff during our visit, so cant really comment. Not the type of hotel where you regularly interact, which is a shame.

All in all. If just looking for a clean modern hotel it is fine.

We recently stayed here for 3 nights and it was a very enjoyable stay. The rooms are large and comfortable and the bathroom facilities excellant. The room was always warm and cozy with a flat screen TV and free DVD rental. The room also had a mini bar and coffee making facilities. It was within a short walking distance of Wenclas square and all the shops. Breakfast was provided, which wasn't the best but adequate and fresh. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. There was also free internet use and books to borrow. On the last day our transport failed to arrive for the transfer to the airport and the manager and staff arranged transport for us at their expense. This was a great hotel and I hope to revisit it soon.

My husband and I have just returned from a four night stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a great location only a 5-10 minute walk from the top of Wenceslas Sq. The rooms are a decent size, well furnished, clean, modern with a flat screen tv, dvd player, mini fridge, safe etc and very very warm. The bathroom is a great size and the shower was very hot and powerful. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was ok, hot and cold options. The hotel itself is very quiet and you dont get disturbed by other guests. There is also free internet access available. I wouldnt class this as a four star hotel, however it was very comfortable and we were more than happy with out stay. A taxi from the airport takes around 30minutes and costs around 26 euros, if you keep hold of the taxi company card and book your return journey with them you'll receive a 20% discount on your return journey. I would definately stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone.

Ideal location short walk to Wenceslas Square. Very clean hotel and staff were friendly and helpful especially Andrea on reception who answered all of our many questions. Beds very comfortable, good hot showers and bathrobes were a nice touch. Out teens loved the free wifi in the rooms for their iPods! Adequate breakfast. Travelled with Prague Experience
- would recommend both.

We were upgraded to a suite - enormous lounge, separate bathroom and toilet and large bedroom. No idea why, but certainly added to our stay! Breakfast more than adequate though bacon - as in many continental hotels - was not cooked as well as the British generally expect. Apart from that, lots of choice with unobtrusive staff regularly checking and topping up eggs, sausages etc.
If, like us, you are fans of Hasek's 'The Good Soldier Schweik', DO NOT eat at the restaurant bearing his name which has the pictures from the book on the wall!! The foor was poor, the service surly, and a 20% compulsary 'tip' was added. When I asked that this be shown on the bill the waitress was quite unpleasant. I wanted to pay on credit card but was told 'tip' had to be in cash. Try instead the jazz bar in the shadow of the Tyn Church. Great atmosphere, background music and lunchtime special a real bargain.

I live in Prague, I work in Prague, I have people to stay all the time but this hotel has to be the best kept secret ......
Doesn't look much from the outside but it is in a great location....5 mins walk from Trams, the metro and Wenceslas Square
I had family and friends to stay for a long weekend for a major family celebration and the hotel staff did everything they could to make it special...including a bottle of champagne for the birthday girl
Staff were incredibly helpful, pleasant and friendly, breakfast is good, by regional standards, there is excellent Spa facilities on site at very good rates, compared to other places in town and they have lots of offers on their site but even without a special offer the B&B rate is excellent. Splash out the extra few euros on a suite.....huge bedroom, bathroom and lounge.....we had a couple of smaller rooms in our party but even so they are very comfortable
I checked out lots of hotels for this gathering.....this was the perfect choice...it's not a Hilton or an Intercontinental...its small but stylish and friendly
