“Incredible Indian”

The food was absolutely delightful and the tomato soup was just AH-MAZING! The staff was very nice and helpful. It was an overly pleasant lunch experience. For the meal this good, I'd gladly pay twice as much.

“Nice place, average food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2013

Palladium shopping centre in my view rates high among the ugliest places in Prague, this restaurant though is one of a few peaceful retreats within the centre. I am sure you will enjoy its atmposphere and peace (unless you arrive at about midday which is a very busy time on workdays). As for the food just dont expect too much. Yes, you will be served Indiand food but its a litlle tasteless. If you like Indian food you should go elsewhere in Prague and just take a cup of lassi in here.

“Best in Prague”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2013

I've eaten Indian food all over the world. So far this is the best I've had in continental Europe. It isn't perfect by a long shot but it absolutely satisfies the craving whereas other restaurants here don't. This is the only place serving the real papdums imported from India, as far as I can tell. The naan is light and fluffy and invariably fresh. The spices are properly applied, and when you ask for something hot it's HOT -- but not just by pouring chili oil on it. They know how to add the spices to the mixture so it hits all over your palate, not just in one burning place. The food is not oily and the spinach and paneer are very fresh, which is also rare.
The quality is similar to Bombay Palace in Los Angeles or Gaylord's in London/Palo Alto. Not as good as some I've had in Asia, but far better than the other places on offer in Prague.
Downside: A bit expensive. My understanding is that the rent for a small clothing store in the Paladium mall starts at $15k US a month, so I can't even imagine what these guys are paying. But if you're fine with to putting down $40 you'll get a huge meal for two or three people that can't be beat. Personally I've started going there once a week and taking home enough food for two days. Tried the others, but this is the one.

“nice but small portions”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2013

a nice indian restaurant. as non smokers we were forced to sit at one of the outside tables so we didn't really get the indian atmosphere. we had the chicken tiki massala and were not really overwhelmed buy the portions. they were rather small. after the meal we were kindly (but firmly) asked to fill out a small questionnare about our experience.

“Small portions, high prices”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2013

Had dinner at the restaurant. The service was very nice, the food was average. The main negative was that the portion size was very small when compared to the price we paid.
