Great place, we sat inside, nice decor and ambiance. The lady who took our order was very nice and helpful.
The food was amazing! We ordered chiken tandoori, indian spiced vegetables, rice and of course naan. Everything was simply delicious.
Great experience.

Thank RRitah

Food was authentic Indian Cuisine. Service was fast and beer cold. We sat outside and enjoyed the Prague outdoor scene.

The food is good, having been with colleagues from India, the consensus is they kept the taste quite authentic (not "Europeanized"). And we checked: owner, chef and staff are all from India. So far so good. But the other strength of this place (location: al fresco dining in one of the popular squares in the centre of this magnificent town) also becomes a weakness: place is full, you have to wait longer to get the waiter's attention, to get the food, the staff is a bit grumpy/stressed, there is noise, you cannot fully immerse yourself into the excellent cuisine and you pay more. It's all about making compromises....

After more than a week in Euro, my wife and I went looking for some spicy food. Indian Jewel is centrally located (about 3 mins from the main square) but on a quiet street. Sat outside as the weather was nice.

Our server was a Czech lady (only non Indian server) who was well versed with the menu. Plus she was friendly. She brought her own shawl as my wife was feeling cold. We ordered the following:

- murgh tikka masala (spicy)
- chicken vindaloo (extra spicy)
- raita ( yoghurt to calm the spices)
- garlic naan and tandoori roti (bread)

The bill was reasonable at czk1,059 (including a beer and a water bottle).

Recommended to get a kick of a different taste.
