We first visited here in August 2013 when Prague City was much busier & the weather warmer & sat outdoors, we just had to return again yesterday, although obviously sat indoors at this time of year. Staff are very courteous & professional with prompt service, though not hurrying anyone in order to get more 'bums on seats'! What was particularly nice was that the staff advise you whether they believe certain portions would be sufficient for the number of guests dining, also reminding you as to the type & strength of the ingredients (just in case you're a novice curry eater). I have visited numerous 'Indian' restaurants during my time but the Indian Jewel just has to be the best, the menu is not as varied as most restaurants in the UK but the choice is sufficient. We had Chicken Pakora's as a starter and the meat with the main course was beautifully tender with, as one expects, no horrible fat or chewy pieces. I had lamb Jalfrezy & lamb meat in the Czech Republic although not unknown, is something of a rareity. The Indian Jewel is located in a corner of the Tyn Courtyard, which is at the back of the Church of Our Lady before Tyn on the Old Town Square. You just have to try it !!!
