Got married in a Czech Town called Nachod (nr Polish border) in July, the wedding party (30 people various ages 5yr old to 70 yr old) met up in Prague before travelling onto Nachod.(by bus)

Terrific hotel - Ideal location opposite the Florenc Metro, Tram stop outside (No. 8 Prague Castle), 1/4 mile away is the main Prague Bus Station. Central Prague but away from the tacky commercial part, about 1/2 mile walk to Wenceles sq & just about 1.5 mile to the Charles Bridge

Very Clean, great value for money, spacious rooms.

Didn't bother with breakfast as there is a great supermarket opposite which sells great bread & pastries

Only criticism being the bar shut at Midnight

Would highly reccomend this hotel

I would reccomend

Stayed here with my friend (two females age 23) for a weekend away and really we were quite impressed by it. Its a really new hotel and nice and fresh. Only thing we werent too happy about was on arrival we were asked for was about a £60 deposit, or our credit cards. We just said we werent prepared to do that as we didnt intend to run up a bill and if we used the bar we'd just pay as and when. They didnt seem to pleased with this but we shouldnt have had to, simple. So we didnt and that was that.

The bar area was lovely and there was a live singer / guitarist which was good. We were half board so got our evening meal there. It was a set menu but there was a decent selection and the local cuisine (goulash) was really nice. The drinks were reasonably priced and a bottle of wine was about £10.

The rooms were a good size, clean and modern. Bathroom was lovely too. Accross the road there was a Billa (local supermarket) and it was very well stocked. We didnt go to that many places at night but the main club Karlovy is a must if your there to check out the nightlife. Also try BedClub in the main square for a cocktail or 2, we really liked it! There are no chairs just beds so you take off your shoes and jump up on these huge beds!

There was a good shopping centre not too far from the hotel too, just a short 5 min walk where there was a lot of nice shops and places to eat.

So yes I would reccommend Jurys inn for staying in prague. Only thing missing was a swimming pool!

just back from a stag weekend in prague and stayed here. hotel and rooms were very clean and far better than i could of hoped for the price, which was very cheap. rooms were a great size, all furniture like new, and the bathroom was a great size, ultra clean and modern. location really good for stumbling back at 6am, where the staff were still happy to see us, even with our takeaway from mcdonalds that was 300yards up the road!. we took up 5 rooms, and no complaints, and no smoke smelling rooms as previous reviewers have mentioned; maybe just lucky i guess! breakfast was expensive, but walk 150 yards and there are plenty places for eating mega cheaply! overall, Prague was awesome for a stag weekend, and will definately stay here when we go back for the next one.

I stayed here during a 4 day stay in Prague. The hotel staff was friendly and spoke wonderful English. Check in and out was smooth. The staff was helpful with directions. Wi-Fi is available for free in the lobby. There is a free LAN connection in the room. The hotel is within 10-15min walking distance to the pedestrian zone. The hotel is located right across the street from a tram stop, bus stop, and metro station (stop is Florenc).
My room was kept clean and well stocked. The room had comfortable bedding and linens. The water pressure was the strongest I have ever experienced while traveling in Europe, ever. The room was quite. I could not tell that I had neighbors on either side. My room, 327, did have a less than stellar AC; however I am a hot natured individual that likes my room 68 degrees max. I think it stayed around 80. My room faced the back of the hotel and got no breeze, so opening the window was a moot point.
Breakfast was good. It had a decent selection of fruit, cold cuts, cereals and beverages. Bacon, sausage and eggs were also available. The bar had a friendly staff and a decent selection.
I would not mind at all staying in this hotel. I had a decent experience there. If I come in summer next time I will need to bring a larger fan

Really liked Jury's Inn Prague. It was spotless everywhere. The room was a very high standard.

Brilliant BRILLIANT location right near Florenc station which is one of the main interchange stations on the Metro. So very easy to get around.

Lots of supermarkets around so easy to get supplies. And some great cafes within an stones throw to stock up on sarni's to take with you etc.

Would definitely stay again. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Overall, this was a really good hotel. It was very clean, modern, nicely kept, and had all the amenities you need to travel comfortably. Breakfast is a basic and buffet style but it is not bad at all - actually the mini croissants are freshly baked and delicious. I didn't bring a laptop but was told they offer complimentary Wifi - not sure on the quality. The service is average but I came to find out it is just the way the Czech people are - serious, forthright and not too bubbly :) The only factor I considered questionable was the location. Although it was right across the street from the train station, which was super convenient when you're carrying luggage, it was about a 15 minute walk from the city center, or Old Town (the main area with restaurants, attractions, shopping, etc.). A 15 minute walk isn't bad, but once you've done that walk for 3-4 days, it gets a little old and you kind of wished you had stayed a little more central. But honestly, this was one of the best hotels I stayed at in Europe - after traveling to 5 countries. I didn't try to travel high end but no hostels for me either - so at the mid-point price range it was a great value.

We stayed at the Jurys Inn at the beginning of August, three rooms including one with an infant. One room needed to be changed because it reeked of smoke, another because we ordered twin beds and received a double bed. Other than that, the rooms were just fine, the breakfast tasty, and the staff very friendly.

We had 3 small comments about our bathroom: The Environment-friendly guidelines said the towels wouldn't be switched unless they were thrown on the floor, but ours were switched each day. There was no hook to hang a towel near the sink. And the bathtub was quite high to climb into.

About the location, other reviews suggest the hotel is 10, 15, or 20 minutes walk from the center. Admittedly we had a baby stroller with us, but the walk was closer to 25 minutes, and from the main square there is plenty of more walking to do in the Old Town. We found the Metro station right across the street quite convenient and a good solution to our mobility, especially on days when it rained.

All in all, this is a very fine hotel and you get good value for your money.
