“A short holiday in Prague”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

We stayed at Jurys Inn in prague. It is just over a five minute walk into the old part of the city. It is next to the tram and metro station so is an excellent location for getting out and about. The hotel is very comfortable and is very good value for money. The breakfasts are excellent and provide a good start to a day of sight seeing. Tthe staff at the hotel are very freindly and attentive. They proved to be very helpful in providing useful information about the city. They proved to be invaluable in finding goo places to eat ,booking taxis and guiding us about using public transport. The hotel is ionly a short walk to the river and a very pleasnat walk along the tiver bank to Charles Bridge. We found it a great way to get away from the busier streets.

Great location, friendly staff, modern hotel, good breakfast, great room with a large bathroom. If you have your own car, but somewhat more deeply into the purse look, if the parkgarrage want to use (circa 20€ per day). We found that as clear too much. It a good hotel and you don't need bad surprise await.

My husband & I stayed here for 3 days for a city break in Prague, the hotel is in a good location for a five minute walk to shops , bars & restaurants it is away from the bussle of the centre but easily close enough there is also a supermarket opposite should you need snacks or drinks and a tram stop right outside. Our hotel room was nice and roomy with the usual amenities , safe desk , seating bath with shower, my only bug bear about the hotel was the bed felt like it had sprung not so comfortable but not the end of the world. Breakfast was a good spread of cooked & continental with some delicious cheeses and bread . The staff were very friendly to :-)

We stayed in this hotel from the 17th-20th of November 2013. It was perfect, close to the airport so the taxi isn't too expensive. Right in the middle of everything, there is a supermarket opposite that sells everything you need. mc Donald's across the road and to the left and then subway, KFC and all the favourite takeaways on the same road about 150m away! There is free wifi in the hotel which was perfect. The tv doesn't really have English channels so recommend to take a laptop or iPad. Bed is really comfy and room very clean. Reasonable priced alcohol and food lovely as we'll. Breakfast wasn't for us but better if you go earlier as it's sat under heat laps for a while. Lovely walk into old town where there are lots of lovely bars and places to eat. Recommend the Irish bar in the square, Coyotes bar, Hard Rock Cafe and the pub crawl (reps are stood outside the clock tower I'm red coats, very friendly) we did the pub crawl two nights in a row, chance to meet new people and see places you wouldn't on your own. Also we went on the Segway tour that was also amazing got to see everything you want and need:) over all I would defo recommend staying her and we would come back any time :)

We stayed four nights here and all of the staff were polite and helpful. The room was spotless, breakfast was extensive although the hot buffet is not what you would expect in the UK but hey we weren't in the UK so can't complain. Barman was cheery and always willing to chat if we asked questions. On checking in the receptionist noticed that my wife's birthday was the next day and we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine in our room with a nice message attached. The hotel is directly opposite Florence metro station so getting to/from the airport was a breeze and had the weather been inclement we would have hopped on it to get into town but it was dry so we walked, about 1km to the Municipal House which is coincidentally adjacent to the next metro stop. There is building work going on next door but there was no noise at all although it does mean the pavement in front of the building next door is blocked off but we just walled along the road for 20 metres. I'd have no hesitation in going back. Also had a meal in the hotel one night and it was pretty tasty too.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights earlier this month, and the hotel is of an excellent standard. The rooms are large, and the bathrooms are nice too. The tv in room comes with bbc and sky news if your bothered about that.
The hotel itself is about a 10 min walk from old town square (turn right out of hotel) and is located directly opposite the Florenc metro station and also the tram stop. Very handy for getting back to the airport, take the metro to Mustek, change there for the metro to Dejvicka and then get the 119 bus, total journey time no more than 45 minutes.
The breakfast in the hotel is of a very good standard, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, omelettes, beans etc and also cold options too.
I recommend this hotel to anyone, I had a very nice stay here and will return on my next visit to Prague. Will also recommend the beer museum pub, 30 beers on draught, this was about 10 min walk from the hotel.

myself and 2 friends stayed here for 2 nights last weekend, what a weekend we had in a great city.

plus points:

Great location - easy access from airport via 100 bus and b metro line, hotel is opposite florence station, it literally couldnt be easier to locate. Hotel is 5 mins walk from the start of the old town, plenty of shops on route and great buildings. We got a taxi back to the airport as we were happy chilling at the bar and the cost was around 5 pounds each, fantastic value.

great staff - when we arrived we were told that they didnt have a triple room that we had booked, they apologised and asked if we would mind a double and single, and as a thankyou offered us a drink at the bar, which we accepted. They were also very at pointing out the local sights on the map.

breakfast - excellent choice of hot and cold meals. You could have cereals, fruits, ham and cheese selection, fully cooked english style breakfast, tea, coffee, selection of juices, it was a brilliant way to start the day, anyone that says it was poor is lying, fact.

room - clean, nice clean bathroom, desk, mini bar, free easy to use safe, comfy bed, tv, all you should want for a weekend break.

bar - a great selection of local beers and international brands, we had the welcome drink and 2 more before we left, 2 pounds for a beer in a hotel is very good im sure you'll agree.

wifi - we could access the wifi in our roon and all over the hotel, great for sending photos back home to family.

Negatives

I honestly cant think of any. This is a great hotel for a weekend break.
