I took 3 tours with Sandermans: 1 with Ryan and 2 other with David, the American. Here's my review of both guides.

I've been to the free walking tour with Ryan on May 5th (marathon day), a guy who is more of an artist/actor than a guide. The Free walking tour lasted 3h with a 30-min break! To me, it wasted more time than needed. Moreover, the tour lacked coherence of information and was full of meaningless acting scenes. I ended up doing a 2nd free walking tour with another company (Good Tours), which was up to my expectations.

The other 2 paid tours that I did with David the American were excellent, the guy has an unmatchable wealth of knowledge (2 Masters in Slavic history and international relations!) and makes the multiple historical facts accessible in a well-narrated story. This was the case in both the Prague Castle and Kunta Hora tours. Plus, he's has an easy-going character and uses smarty jokes and humor during the tour. This guy sets high standards in his walking tours. The time investment was worth it with David, the American. Thank you

We were part of the free Prague tour with Paris as our guide. She made the tour so fun and educational at the same time, we did not feel the time passing by. I totally recommend it!

Happy to recommend this walking tour with short tram ride up the hill. Good for filling in the history of Prague and the lovely Castle area. Our guide Brian was well informed.

We have been on a free (tip based) walking tour in Prague with Sandemans. Our guide Katerina was amazing, so kind, positive, friendly, happy to answer all the questions, very well informed. One great trip, not too long, not too exhausting, filled with great info about history and modern Prague. It was a true pleasure to spend some time with great guide and host as Katerina. Thanks again!

This was a very informative day trip. Jeremy was our guide and was excellent. It was a long day but very enjoyable. Jeremy's wealth of information and passion for the subject was enlightening. It does involve quite a bit of walking (15,000 on step counter). My only fault with the entire day was lunch. We were told it did not include lunch but there were spots where you could pick up food. The opportunity did not arrive until 2pm and then it was slim pickings. My suggestion would be to bring snacks to munch on as were were very hungry by 2. Other than that it was a very good day.
