We can't say enough about our walking tours with Pavel last week. Pavel who grew up in Prague during the dark days of Communism, gave a very personal perspective on his city, which, to us, made the tour much more than a travelogue. Pavel made it easy (well not that easy) to digest Prague's complex history which is reflected everywhere you turn. And hearing about Pavel's life and that of his parents made it all very real. We did the free tour 10:30-2 and then took the afternoon tour with Pavel across the Charles Bridge to the Castle, ending at 6. We couldn't have made a better choice of what to do on our first full day in Prague. If you are a traveler, this is a very special experience.
