Description: Bohemia Bagel Cafe is a nice friendly restaurant based in just steps from the Charles Bridge offering fresh-baked bagel sandwiches, traditional Czech dishes and American -style desserts. Bohemia Bagel has become a institution in Prague over the last ten years for informal American style dining. It is a favourite destination for foreigners visiting Prague. The menu was developed by Chef Scott Kelly, a native of Los Angeles who honed his culinary skills in New York, Beirut and Moscow before settling in Prague. This relaxed cafe serves delicious home-style cooking and an impressive line-up of American style desserts.

“Great Hot Soup”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

We went here just for the soup and were glad we did. The soup comes with a bagel, is delicious, and very reasonably priced.

“Quite possibly the best pancakes I have ever eaten!”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

Breakfast here was included with our Charles Bridge Residence stay, but I think there are three Bohemia Bagels in Prague. Well worth seeking out if you want a delicious breakfast. I couldn't stay away from the American-style blueberry pancakes, but the bagel sandwiches with egg, sausage, and cheese also get the thumbs up. Lots of other choices washed down with a lovely cappuccino.

“Very Average And Not Exciting”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

Stopped by here for lunch whilst in Mala Strana feeling like a good bagel meal. Whilst service was good, friendly and efficient, the meal of bagel with turkey, salad and steak fries was just average. Walking further afield in Mala Strana, particularly up Nerudova street, were far more interesting and better priced traditional Czech places I would have preferred. There was nothing special about Bohemia Bagel and I thought it a bit exoensive compared to where I have been eslewhere.

“Friendly service”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

Being a bagel fan we specifically sought this café out after reading about it in DK's Top 10 Prague. We were not disappointed, apart from tasty bagels I had the best carrot cake I've ever eaten. The latte was also superb. But the main reason for writing this review is to commend the staff. The waiter who served us was definitely the friendliest waiter in Prague and it was amazing that he spoke English with a Cockney accent although he'd never been to the UK!

“Only bagels in the area”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

Only place to get a bagel in Prague, but beware not any way close to a good NYC bagel. Same owner offers a late night taco stand next door. Both are popular.
