We visited this restaurant during the local parish fair, but it is open through the whole year. Usually a reservation is needed. The meals are in traditional style, very good but expensive. Try the roasted duck with cabbage.

Come here for traditional atmosphere, excellent food and good house brewed beer. We had colleague reunion here few weeks ago and I was very much pleased with the restaurant`s quality, the staff friendliness. It offers beautiful monastery and church sightseeing, walk in the nearby park, good location on both tram and bus, as well as a good parking availability. The restaurant is non- smoking, which adds another plus!

We accidentally took the tram too far and ended up at the Brevnov monestary instead of the Strahov monestary. While you don't get to see much of the monestary, the restaurant and brewery are GREAT. We had a nice, relaxing lunch and some outstanding Czech beer before getting back on the tram and going back to the Strahov monestary
