Stayed here for 3 nights during Easter 2014 and can highly recommend this hotel. Located just outside the centre but less than 40 minutes walk to the castle or you can always get the tram. Staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Stayed in room 549 on the 5th floor which was very quiet.
Breakfast is more than acceptable with a wide variety of choices, and we ate at the hotel restaurant on our first night. I always like to try a local dish and can highly recommend the baked beef svickova.
If you need a taxi make sure that you ask the hotel to book it for you. One afternoon we got a yellow cab back from the old square and where charged 590 krona. We got the hotel to book us a taxi to go back there on the evening and the driver charged us 120! We asked the same driver to take us back later and he gave us his number, and on the way back only charged us 95! So be warned!
Only one slight criticism of the room would be the one pillow which was way too soft, but otherwise all in all perfect and would stay again.
