This was a great, out-of-the-norm tour with Petr and Nela. Not only do you learn about truffle hunting, truffle dog training and eat a fantastic truffle lunch, but the views during the tour from Petrin Hill are amazing. Petr is engaging and really knows his stuff. Nela is absolutely beautiful. Thank you, Petr!

Phenomenal tour. Extremely informative and interesting. Petyr is friendly and knowledgeable host. His dog Nela is very intelligent and entertaining while she works. I highly recommend this unique tour to anyone visiting Prague. It ends with a delicious meal and we felt it was money well spent.

I loved everything about this tour. Petr did a great job of explaining how truffle hunting works and how his dog Nela was trained. She showed us how she finds the truffles, and it really is impressive - she was running by the one I hid, and she stopped dead in her tracks and found it. The group size was perfect (less than 10), and I thoroughly enjoyed having lunch with everyone afterwards. Petr also gave us truffles and suggested meals they pair nicely with. This was something totally different to do that was so fun and informative, and the park was beautiful with the fall foliage. I would highly recommend!

Petr was so flexible with dates and even the time! My dad and I dropped our cellphone in a local taxi cab and Petr called the phone (an international number), turned his hotspot so we could use the FindMyiPhone app. He was so helpful with how to get around and find the cab, we made it back almost an hour and 1/2 after the start of the tour and he returned for us to continue with him and the other guest.
He is very knowledgeable and explained some very specific details about the biology, politics, commercial, and culinary aspects of this delectable little fungus. His dog Nela is so much fun and it is brilliant watching her search for the truffles. He spoke extensively about the training Nela went through and how it is not work for her, but rather a fun game with a tasty reward in store for finding truffles.
Lunch was very tasty and it was nice to share a meal with Kizzy (the other guest), Petr, and Nela.
I highly recommend this experience in a beautiful Prague park with a wonderful person and his dog!

This tour was one of the highlights of my recent trip to Prague. The guide - Petr was friendly, interesting and happy to answer questions. His dog Nela was a joy to be around. She was full of energy. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for something that is not the typical tourist attraction
