We just stayed at this hotel this past week and we were blown away by how good the rooms are. The rooms are really nice, the bed is very comfortable and the restroom is very well equipped. The location is also very good, only 10 min walk to the old town square. We did several cities in Europe during this trip and this hotel was by far the best one on our trip. It truly had more to offer than we expected.

Booked this hotel in through Tablet Hotel service (also really great site) outside my usually preferred hotel in Prague.
Wanted something different and closer to old town.
The Buddha-Bar hotel was fantastic and very well appointed in all the right ways for the style they were going for.
The room I was provided on the 3rd floor was quite large with its separate entryway, bath/shower, sinks and separate wash closet.
The decor was top notch and well take care of.
The atmosphere was moody, in a positively darkish way, but very unique and peaceful.
The hotel was very quiet = no hallway, neighboring guest suite noise while still situated right in old town Prague next to some lively late night bars.
Great service, customer appreciation and high level of respect.
I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Only stayed one time for 3 nights... ask for 3rd floor?

I booked this hotel for a special occasion ,I planned to propose to my girlfriend and wanted somewhere romantic with quality.i booked 3nights and if booked off the official website recieve discounts.
We stayed 20th-23rd September 2013
The hotel doesn't stand out and and can be hard to see.its very subtle and easy on the eye which I like.
Upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who took our cases out of our taxi and into the hotels reception area.
I booked a superior room and booked the romantic getaway spa package at the same time, and to a pleasant surprise had my room upgraded to a premier room free of charge.
We stayed in room 12 on the 1st floor. The corridors and stairwells are quite dark & low lit to create a calming romantic ambience and the hotel is kept very clean.
Next to our room was huge glass windows that overlook The Siddharta Cafe which looks really spectacular.
The room was out of this world, entrance hall, seperate toilet to the right, bathroom straight ahead and bedroom to the left with huge bed and the biggest comfiest pillows, amazing decor all the gadgets and mod cons, plasma tv, nespresso machine, fancy dimmable lighting, remote curtains.
The bathroom is spectacular large seperate rainforest shower, dual sinks and the biggest bathtub, large mirror.
Rooms are cleaned daily and turnover at night where you get complimentary chocs, weather report, mineral water and scattered flowers.
The romantic getaway package in the spa is very intimate, romantic and is private to yourself. strawberries and champagne come with the package then, an hour to enjoy the jacuzzi and sip the champagne together and to follow a full body massage one after each other as only 1 masseuse .
The Massage was just heaven, so relaxing and well worth the money.
On the 2nd night we booked to eat in the restaurant and so glad we did. Again decor amazing with a ginormous buddah sat towering above you in a dim romantically mood lit room.
Food was out of this world and not over priced.
The bar is also nice to sit in and chill after your meal.
The buffet breakfast again is just quality with a choice of different cultured cuisine.
The staff throughout the hotel are very attentive and can't help enough, readily available with help and advice and will walk you to the best foreign exchange bureau or shop.
The stay was like a dream and think this is an extremely well run hotel that make you feel special and looked after.
I'll be rebooking for valentines day 2014 and book all the same again.

It was a perfect service and we`ve had a fantastic room with a lot of electronical devices and a lightshow to explore. Unfortunately we`ve had only one night, but this one creates a drive for more.
We will for sure come back in a chilled mood and I wouldn`t hurry again if we have to leave.

An unexpected Gem! Gorgeous, unique rooms. Perfect location allowed us to walk to all of our tour destinations. Friendly staff who went so far as the take my in-laws by the hand to walk down the street to change currency. Would recommend it to anyone, and will be visiting again!

We could have have stayed at the four seasons for the same price and it was a mistake to go to Buddha Bar, we were very disappointed with our stay for several reasons yet impressed with other things. I am a big fan of Buddha Bar and the concept, I have visited the bars in Dubai, Paris and London and loved them all. The dark hotel and lack of lighting does not bother me, I quite like it, but it was other things that let the hotel down.

The negatives

1) We were on floor three (second highest), yet on the Friday night our floors were vibrating until 5am from the party in the Buddha Bar. We were not the only ones kept awake. We were told the next morning that they have this once a month, we got a bottle of wine and a late checkout as a sorry - but it doesn't make up for a sleepless night (it really was so so loud). This wouldn't have happened at any half decent 5* hotel (especially as it is within the hotel's control). At the very least guests should be pre-warned, I sleep through anything and this was ridiculously loud.

2) The Spa is not a Spa, it is the size of a hotel bedroom with one massage table and an area with a shower and a hot tub. It is presented nicely, but not the facilities you expect from a five star hotel.

3) The room really had all the gear, from a loo that washes you to a state of the art b&o TV and subzero fridge (i.e. a mini bar fridge that actually works). But, it is all so complicated it will take you a few days to figure out (I am a young gadget lover too) and it is not helped by the fact it is so so so dark and the room is quite busy.

4) Staff are very helpful but things just are not as smooth as they should be - our parents got a 8:30 am wake up call when one was not requested, our boat trip was booked incorrectly by the front desk and at the breakfast there were lots of things forgotten or not done.

5) This is a personal thing, but the hotel just didn't have that 5* luxury edge, you would walk past the main entrance without realizing the little doors led to a hotel, the first time we went in we saw a scruffy porter stumble out of a lift with some suitcases. We went to the four seasons for drinks, the staff were dressed perfectly and were just on a different level.

6) Breakfast is not great.

The positives

1) The rooms are very high spec, the bed is very comfy, they provide water daily and the mini bar is well stocked. There was clearly no expense spared on the rooms. They were very busy and there was very little room to move about with everything that was in them.

2) The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

3) The food (room service) was very good and room service was very quick and responsive.

4) The location is very good.

I think had we not been kept up all night by the noise we'd have given it a four. The hotel is a four star hotel with trendy 5 star rooms. Prague was amazing, I will go back and I will visit Buddha Bar for drinks and dinner but I won't be staying at this hotel.

Room Tip: Go for a high room to get away from any noise from the club on the lower ground floor!

Just back from five days at this fantastic hotel.

Things didn't start off too well when the booked and confirmed limo service didn't turn up at the airport, but a taxi ride later and we checked in.

The staff, room and food were all excellent. Very comfy bed, lovely room the only criticism would be the lights in the rooms. There are so many light switches and no instruction s regarding which bank of switches control which lights, seriously there are 15 switches in a room - either simplify the electrics or leave some sort of idiots guide. Turning all the lights off took about 15 minutes the first night!

Apart from this small issue we thoroughly enjoyed or stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
