First of all i have to say i really find difficulty writing these lines since i have never seen a worst internet connection in a hotel before it is extremely slow and your connection drops out of internet every 5 minutes other than that the service and the reception is nothing close to friendly even when you smile and say good morning they return back your conversation with a discontent expression which after some time makes you feel like you are not a guest but a burden to them. The rooms are fine cleanliness is ok and the location is quite close to the hotel so it serves its purpose as a airport hotel but as i said before they have to increase their quality for human relations.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn at the airport, even though more expensive than others, because of the beds. Website shows it has 2 king size beds. Traveling with a widowed sister seemed the right choice. On arrival, the "suite" we were given only had 1 king size bed. Had a sofa in the living area. Complained to front desk. They said they had NO rooms with 2 beds. Not according to my confirmation!! They sent chamber maid to make into a bed - took well over an hour for her to arrive. Room also did not have wi fi. When my husband went out into the hall the wi-fi worked. They did not believe us. The bathroom also did not have hot water. All three of us tried it out. they didn't believe us on that either. It was an expensive room, but not as advertised.

I have a mixed impression of this hotel. The rooms are nicely designed and service is kind. Internet is free and functioning well. Breakfast is OK. However, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, causing me to wake up a few times during the night with frustration. While being promised there is room service, I couldn't find any menu in the room, and eventually gave up and went to sleep, because it was getting late. Finally, while I was staying in a smoke free floor, there were very active ashtrays near the elevators, with a constant smell of heavy smoking. Overall, not highly recommended, but could be a reasonable solution for those needing to stay near the airport in Prague.

Room was clean, and the bathroom was neat. The bed was a bit too hard for my style, but that's how it is sometimes.Rooms was quite noisy as well. On the upside there was free internet. It's quite common with taxi scams, so I thought it would be safe to ask the receptionist call me a taxi to the city. He called his friend or the "hotel taxi driver", I don't know what it was. I didn't react much as still it was not expensive. I paid 750 CSK for a ride to downtown, later I found out that a taxi ride to the city should be 500 CSK.

Room Tip: don't book a taxi from the reception

Holiday Inn usuall services and proximity of the aiport with a free shuttle in 5 minutes made me feel comfortable.
Unlikely, some of my clothes desapears and the direction had made no effort to get it me back despite my several calls and emails! The hotel discharges himself as apparently the cleaning personal didn't declare anything found...
It is a pity for that kind of hotel and especially as I am travelling all over the world.

I stayed here in march in-transit. So, one night here. The supper was about 20 euro for a good chicken steak and fries. The room was clean and the hotel is modern with free wifi. The airport pick up was great, the phone is by exit C and the call to the hotel is free. I is a ways from Prague however so probably not idea for a visit to Prague itself - about 45 minutes by public transit. Public transit has an office near the phone in the airport where you can buy tickets, days passes, etc...

There is a mini gym in the hotel, which is good.

The only downside, it was a tad bit hot in the hotel room and you can't open the windows.

First off, this hotel is perfectly located if you have a quick stopover in Prague, or if you need a room for an early morning departure. If you have significant time before your flight, or if your layover is longer than 12 hours or so, staying in Prague itself is a much better idea. It is at most a 15 minute drive from Prague to the airport if you have a rental car, or by cab (that ride should run you about 600-700 Czech crowns ($30-40ish in USD)).

As for the room itself - the single room I had was good sized for an airport hotel, and the furniture and fixtures were very good. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom decent sized and very clean, and the in-room wireless very quick and convenient.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the airport shuttle to the terminals was very convenient.

As for the negatives - the bar and restaurant are ridiculously over-priced, and are not worth your time. Sadly, if you are on foot the dining options in the area are pretty limited, but there are a couple of restaurants at the shopping center by the terminals (about a 7-10 minute walk). If you have a rental car, getting into the outskirts of Prague is easy and fast, although I would suggest you concentrate on places on the Hradcany side of the river to make it easier and faster to get back to the hotel/airport.
