Absolutely amazing hostel. first of all, your experience is all about the people you meet and the staff that works there, AND THEY ARE THE BEST. People are there to meet people and party together, and the hostel is doing their best to make it happen. every day has a different activity plan such as beer garden, free dinner, bbq, etc. The bar is absolutely worth to visit (early though, they made ran out of alcohol because of their popularity!!!) The staff always plan the night and make sure you're taking the right taxi and going to the right place. They are really attentive to your needs and the rooms were the best I've seen ! This hostel was really good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered many activities each night, which is awesome if you want to meet people. The hostel is not close to the city center, but we still managed to walk to it in less than 30 minutes. The rooms were okay, not dirty but not the cleanest I've seen, especially the bathrooms. The common areas and the bar are really nice and fun. We were lucky enough to stay during a night when they offered a free dinner, which was very good!

We decided on Prague as we had previously been to other Eastern European destinations and decided for something different. The hostel staff were friendly on arrival showing us to our room and around the hostel. The rooms are very large and very clean and off the main road so not noisy at all. There is several rooms which give you access to the net and also a large TV room. There is an outside are for BBQ and benches also. The hostel guests are all able to mix throughout the hostel and especially in the bar downstairs which is excellent it is like a mini community. They even put food on for us one night free of charge and when one of the group got into some difficulties the staff were at hand to offer any assistance they could at any hour of the day. I would highly recommend this hostel fantastic value for money and fantastic staff. A must if visiting Prague

Room Tip: There is no pool by the way it just wont let me remove it for some reason

It's a bit off the old town, 30-35 mins on foot. A small bar downstairs and a nice patio. Rooms were OK - clean and everything. maybe the bathroom condition was a bit worse. The staff was helpful and nice. Sadly we couldn't try their dinner or beer garden trip.

Room Tip: We were 10 people so 10 person room on the 6th floor was very nice (602 i think).

First off, let's be clear that this hostel is NOT in the city centre of Prague. It's more on the outskirts, but with a 3 stop (and VERY CHEAP) tram trip, you'll be in the city no more than a 10 minute journey.
My friend and I (both girls, but very flexible travelers) stayed here for 3 nights in a 9 MIXED dorm. Maybe it was our luck, but we roomed with 6 other boys and they were so friendly. Along with the staff, this hostel is great for a more young crowd. They have a basement bar that opens at 9pm and the bartender is hilarious! Around midnight, the bar closes, but everyone gets together and goes out to the city for a couple more drinks.
Front desk is 24 hours, which is excellent for you drunken ladies/lads who fumble with your key to get in (friends rented an apartment and got locked out...you can guess where they ended up at haha). The staff also tips you on places to visit and we were lucky enough to come on a night where we'd all go out and get discounted tickets to SaSaZou to see a famous DJ.
Amenities were fine for us. Beds were clean, sheets were clean, bathroom door was broken, but there was a back-up lock, the bathrooms were clean too.

I would definitely recommend this hostel for the flexible, cost-efficient travelers who are open to meeting new people.

Thanks HostelOne for a great Prague experience. I will definitely be coming back soon!

DON'T STAY HERE! (unless you're under 21 and don't mind a really dirty, disgusting place). This hostel is the worst I've ever stayed in. We stayed in a 10 bedroom dorm, the bathroom door was broken so it wouldn't close and the bathroom light was also broken. Mind you, we were two females staying in a co-ed room with one bathroom inside. The floor was filthy and there was mold growing on the window. The beds didn't have sheets and the blanket looked dirty...I doubt they wash bedding there. The people at the front desk were nice in a fake way and kept cracking terrible jokes that just made us feel awkward. The other people staying in our room were all immature children 18-21, rude and obnoxious. Also, really far away from the city center in a sketchy neighborhood, yet costs as much as other better hostel right downtown. Awful experience.

My stay at Hostel One Prague was a good one. Free dinner three nights a week and lots of fun in the bar area downstairs is available every night.
The staff is great, too!
This hostel is actually not too far from the city center - only a 30 minute walk, which I think is actually pretty close. Transit is available if you prefer the tram, though.
Accomodations are very modest, but it's an inexpensive hostel!
