Slept late and got a late start to tour Prague Castle. As we passed Villa Richter decided to have an early lunch then do our touring. Great idea! We each had a bowl of their cabbage soup then dessert (tiramisu) and coffee. Terrific food, wonderful view in the solarium (because it was a sunny but chilly day) overlooking a vineyard and the city, and pleasant staff. Highly recommend for lunch if you are at the Castle.

Thank Jan A

The food and service were excellent. From the restaurant you have a great view over Prague and I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in summer when you can sit outside... We will certainly be back then!

Nothing wrong with this place but wouldn't rush back. Pleasant view across Prague - food was good standard- service good - but we went on Tuesday night and there were only one other couple there.

The restaurant itself after a long-day of walking and sigh.tseeing was a pleasant surprise. the menu was per-set for our group of 5: a tomato soup nothing like Campbell's - sweet and deep red but served lukewarm, a meat loaf which I did not touch, thank God, because then horse meat scandal broke out the week after, and homemade fresh mashed potatoes which were the best and I ate every bite. he apple strudel for dessert was good, and the coffees and espressos were fine, as was the beer. the house red wine was nothing special. What stood out was the castle like interior, and the service staff was fast and friendly. The dining room (beyond the glass enclosed part) was very clean, as we're the bathrooms. Skip the meat loaf and soup, just order the mashed potatoes!

We stopped here after walking around Prague castle. The staff were great, very attentive and polite. We had a light lunch with a couple of glasses of the house white. It was very pleasant, nice view, good food, good service and a nicely chilled glass or two, it was a perfect spot for lunch and we would stop, there again.
