“just perfect for a few days in Prague”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

The location is excellent, few minutes away from the most crowded places and convenient position both for Caste and Old Town, mini-apartment is clean and comfortable (beds are perfect).
Ideal for a long weekend in Prague.
Friendly staff and decent breakfast, prices are cheap. We definitely suggest this accommodation!

I found the place spotless clean with comfortable beds but I do not recommend staying here during the summer months..there was no air con in the room and I ended up sleeping in the floor in the room for the 4 nights in order to stay cool. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and the location was excellent but the heat was unreal in the room. Maybe it would be different in a month like September.

they have a restaurant; we had one of the touristic menus for lunch, around 150 crowns with dessert.
Drinks are not included in the menu. Tip is automatically added to the bill.
The soup was ok, nothing special, the main dish was good. I didn't like the dessert but that's my personal taste.
In the end it was a good place for a quick and cheap lunch, on the way to Prague castle.

Very good location, very nice old building.
Big clean room with mini-kitchen. Acceptable breakfast.

Room was not ready when we arrived.
Walls are rather thin.
There was no hot water at about 1 AM

Seems that there is not elevator in the hotel which may be a problem for seniors.

The hotel has an excellent location: a minute walking of the Prague Castle, 5 minutes of Charles bridge in charming Nerudova street which is both very vivid during the morning and afternoon and quiet and peaceful during evening and night. A perfect spot for couples or families.
The apartment I stayed in was a two-story one with a small but useful kitchen, spacious living room which also served as a sleeping room and a very spacious sleeping room in the attic with a view of Prague Castle.
Cleanliness was very good as well as breakfast.
The only remark is on some small details like holes in the carpet on the staircase, crack paint on few spots....
Overall: very very nice + EXCELLENT VALUE

This is a really nice hotel with huge, clean rooms. We were under the roof and the apartment there is on two floors with the bedroom just under the roof. Its brilliant, especially the view. The staff is really nice, especially the young guy behind the bar. Breakfast is basic, but at least they fill it up if its empty (not many in Prague do this). The location is great. Loads of restaurants and shops around. On the opposite is a supermarket which is handy. The only negatives are the stairs (very steep) and that we booked a tour to Kutna Hora in the hotel and we were booked on a Russian tour. That was pointless and annoying because no one of us speaks Russian and not even the ticket prices were included in the tour price. But we are not sure if it was the hotels fault (the guy told us believable he booked us on American tour) or the fault of the tour company. So stay away from this. Otherwise we recommend it warmly.
