My husband had the beef tongue over celery salad special to start off with. It was flavorful and tender. It had a nice contrast with the salad. For dinner, he had the rabbit with beer sauce. The rabbit fell off the bone. The beer sauce was a fabulous reduction that was sweet, rich and complex. I had the pumpkin gnocci in sage butter. Alone without seasoning, it would've been delicious. But the addition of the roasted pumpkin and the candied sunflower seeds made this dish soft and crunchy? For once, a meal that needs no salt!
This place is amazing. I don't think they could screw up a meal if they tried.
