“Good experience”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

We were her for lunch.
The food is very good and the view is amazing. We had lunch on the terrace. It was a bit of a cold day but because of the heaters it was still ok to sit outside.
We enjoyed the veal tartar and the Milk fed veal. Both were very good and we also enjoyed the Czech red wine. Service is good, not excellent.

“Breathtaking view and mouth watering food”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

The menu is short but interesting. The presentation is excellent with attention to detail and taste. For starters we had Grilled Tiger Prawns served with Mango Carpaccio, fresh Avocado and Vanilla Dressing and Flame Grilled Sea Scallops with Rosé Champagne Jelly and strawberry Carpaccio. For mains we had Pan fried Chilean Sea Bass completed by Snow Peas, white Asparagus, Tomato Concassé and topped with Coriander Foam and Grilled Canadian Lobster
accompanied with Cuttle-Fish Risotto, Pak-choy and lobster Bisque. For desserts we took Parfait
atop on caramelized Pears with chocolate Brownie poured by hot Chocolate "Valrhona Dulcey" and Plum Ravioli served with grounded caramelized Nuts and homemade hazel-nut Ice-cream. It was DIVINE. The service was also excellent and the breath taking view was the cherry on the cake making it a very good experience . They even booked us a taxi to get back to the hotel and it was there in a short time. Eventhough it maybe considered on the pricey side it is well worth a visit being for friends, couples ,family business or even solo ! Perfect Perfect Perfect!

“Amazing views and food”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

Stayed at The Golden Well for six nights ant ate in the restaurant on five evenings. Not the cheapest place to dine but the food is amazing and the views over Prague are incredible. Service is polite and attentive - very impressed and would definitely recommend.

“Worth visit but not the best one around”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

Agree with other reviews that this restaurant is excellent choice, with exceptional views over Lesser Town. Terrace is directly connected to the South Castle Gardens. Menu is not extravagant but rather short but most of the food was really very well done prepared with attention to the details. Unfortunately it can’t be said about starter Tom Yam. Soup was missing its original taste (definitely worth to be removed from the menu). And I would rate it far below average. Service was OK but again not that much attentive as I would expect from such highly rated restaurant. Final advice – if you are looking for dining experience which Michelin star, this is not the palace to go as there are far better place in Prague to go. But If you are up to excellent romantic dinner with superb views – go for it.

“Fine dining, Czech style”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

This is a restaurant for those who think that Czech cuisine cannot be elaborated and sophisticated. There is nothing else to say.
