Nice place to go and eat a dinner with friends. Do not expect something special, it is an average restaurant where you can eat normal meals wanting to look special.
However do not miss this place - it is in the centre and you can eat for very good prices.

We ate at this restaurant 3 times while staying on a Winter break. Why did we go here several times, the food was well presented, delicious and through our visits was offered a good variety of dishes including fish, trout & salmon. The starters were different to our normal British offerings and we enjoyed trying different ones each night. The staff were very attentive and offered alternative choice for a vegetarian. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm and we felt very comfortable. I would advise booking and checking if your Hotel offers any discount vouchers as ours did although we did not find out until our last visit.
I would agree that it is probably time to have a decoration update but it was clean.
The prices were similar to many we saw around the town centre and we would say reasonable is a good description for the service, wine and food we enjoyed. It also gave us a taste of some of Czechoslovakia menu's. Other places we visited were more expensive and lacked the quality we enjoyed here.

This is a middle-of-the-road restaurant - it is not high-end dining. But we loved it. Being from Australia where a main meal will never cost less than $25 out at a restaurant, we couldn't believe the prices (around $8 australian dollars for the most expensive dish). Food was well cooked, tasty, and good quality. The ambience inside was gorgeous - very European, cosy and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Decent czech and international food in a central location. Relatively cheap. Only locals at the time of our visit, which is always a good sign. Big meals, tasty, recommended (but not a gourmet rest...)

We were quite disappointed with this restaurant having read some very good reviews on Trip Advisor. True, the atmosphere was good and it was fairly full with young families when we went early one evening but the room itself was shabby and although the waiter was very friendly and helpful, the food was very average. The menu only had one fish dish which was the day's special and I realise this is not uncommon for restaurants in Prague as almost everything is geared to meat eaters. The fish in question which was billed as 'cod' was small, thin and grey. I had the celeriac Suisse as an accompaniment and it was extremely salty. My partner had the goose which looked (and apparently tasted) as if it had lived just a bit too long, with dumplings which turned out to be made of polenta. Nothing wrong with that I suppose but the whole meal was rather dull. It was our first experience of Czech food and not a particularly good one. I'm not sure why some reviewers managed to have so much food for apparently so little money because our two courses with two drinks came to just over £30 not particularly cheap, especially for Eastern Europe. My advice, give it a miss.
