“Except the lovely food everything terrible!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2011

This is a restaurant where you can smoke the water pipe, that's why we went. The food was lovely but the waiters did not respond when we were ordering - I waved on him as we wanted to order more and he just stayed where he was..I had to go there and tell him they forgot to bring us wine (no appology either...). They were a bunch of lazy men those waiters! And also there was a 100 corunas charge on the bill that said "service charge" ...it wasnt mentioned in the menu but we were told it was a charge for servicing the pipe... Ridiculous..extra charges that were not in the menu list... I would never go back..horrible experience..

“Looks cozy but was a bad experience.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2011

The restaurant looks inviting from the street and we thought it was a place used by locals of Middle Eastern origin, but we were ushered upstairs where the atmosphere was not cosy. We told our waiter that we had only an hour before a concert but we were abandoned for ages. There was nothing on the table to nibble and we had to pay for bread while waiting for the meal; we ordered a glass of wine each (which was terrible - my red was ice cold and corked). We asked for tap water and were told they didn't have any ( we were later grumpily shown a glass of cloudy water,so they had a problem), so we paid for water as well as bread. The food came after 45 minutes - too late for us to enjoy it. It was OK but nothing special and we were fed up with the poor service and the need to pay extra for everything. Definitely a no-no!

“number one”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2011

For me, Dahab is the number one. It is the place I come in to enjoy my lunch everyday - delicious!! But it is not just delicious food that makes Dahab special. I feel very comfortable and relaxed in Dahab - it has it all - delicious arab cuisine, friendly stuff and a unique atmosphere. Dahab is a part of my everyday life. I recommend!! Come and experience yourself.

“Only go to smoke...”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 3, 2009

If you want good Middle East food - don't even think of going there. We have experienced the great no-frills restaurants of our home near Dearborn, Michigan (highest population of Arabic people outside Middle East) and this place was a complete rip-off. The Syrian guest with us agreed: "only go there to smoke, not to eat". The food was scant and average at best. They charged for pita bread! And it was two silver dollar sized infant pieces. The wait-staff was slow. After 15 minutes of not seeing anyone - we looked over and saw the bartender and the three waiters all on their cell phones. Bottom line - Don't eat Middle east food in Prague
