What a lovely place to spend a period of time in. Good coffee and excellent tea and good selection of cakes. The staff are friendly and you can stay and chat for hours. The locals use it as a meeting place which is always a good sign. The one in Kaprova is the best. It also has Wifi.

A lovely quirky cafe where you can have a great range of drinks and some food including the lovely Czech Honey pie/cake.
The staff are friendly

The best way to find this cafe is to just stumble across it. You feel like you've found something special, especially because it's not directly in the Old Town. The coffee is definitely the highlight here. Unfortunately, the cafe is tiny so it's a little hard to sit and relax but as a quick stop and recharge it's very good.
The service on the day we were there was lacking in attention which was a surprise.
Also, there's no toilet, so don't drink a large latte!!

We made a stop at the Ebel Cafe and very much enjoyed our stop here.

The inside serving and seating area is very small with only one small sitting table and another for standing. It was warm, cosy and a bit of an intimate place for a homemade cup of coffee, something aficionados will appreciate.

The barista was friendly and recommended her favourite two coffee beans. There were perhaps 25-30 varieties to choose from, mostly Central and South American varieties but a few African chooses as well. No Asian beans on the menu unfortunately.

After you choose which bean, you simply select how you want the coffee prepared, just like ordering at a franchise coffee shop. There is wall picture explaining the many different coffee types if you need assistance.

The barista then pulled down the jars of the Puerto Rican and Tanzania varieties we choose, ground them and brewed up two very nice cups of coffee (55kr each). We enjoyed the Puerto Rican a bit more but they were both very enjoyable on their own without sugar (rating 3.5 of 5).

We also sampled the nice looking carrot cake (70kr) that was moist and very flavourful, went very well with the coffee drinks (rating 4 of 5).

In the end, we really enjoyed this little stop and would be happy to visit again for coffee and cakes. This was a memorable little place to visit.
