“Good Asian Fusion Food”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

After travelling for over 30 hours (I don't sleep on planes), we decided to eat in the Hilton at Zinc. Zinc has two Michelin 'spoons' which have always been a reliable guide for good food. I had the Slow Cooked Beef Ribs with Rendang Spice
Paratha Bread, Soya Relish, Pickled Cucumber. The paratha bread was done to perfection and the soya relish devine. The beef ribs are actually pieces of meat from just below the ribs I believe but were cooked to perfection. If you don't asian fusion food, this is not the place for you. They are lots of other restaurants nearby.

“Great food and warm service!”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

I had dinner at the Zinc. The menu is a wonderful mixture of cuisine from many parts of the World. I had the Sri Lankan baked fish with mango picles and biryani rice. It was heavenly and well complimented with a glass of Zinc White Wine and wonderful service. The service certainly needs a double mention, to be efficient and warm is a great touch.

“A great place for dinner”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

We had a fabulous dinner at Zinc during our stay at Hilton Prague Old Town. The décor of Zinc is modern and the atmosphere is friendly. The wait staff was courteous and professional and provided great service. The menu choices were modern European fusion cuisine with Asian flavor, and the portions were sufficient. Three of us all had three or four courses, including dessert. Each course was well presented and delicious. We particularly liked the fish and shellfish cake, chicken and coconut soup, baby chicken two ways, beef ribs, and strawberry soup dessert. The overall dining experience was great. Zinc is a good place for business dinners, romantic dates, and family gatherings.

“Perfect!”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Visited Prague in April and decided to splash out a little on an evening meal at Zinc. So glad we did as it was more than worth it. I should have got around to writing this review sooner but have now found the time to give Zinc it's due.

From the moment we arrived (to be greeted by name although having never been there before - I can only guess there was only one reservation for our party size at that time but still impressive!) the staff were friendly and helpful to a fault.

All 3 courses were fantastically cooked and seasoned and the presentation was top notch, particularly the dessert courses. We couldn't fault anything but if I had to recommend a dish it would be the Beef Tenderloin and the Chocolate Fondant. The bread also deserves a mention - we all remarked that if the rest of the meal was as good we were in for a treat and we weren't disappointed!

The portion size was also quite generous leading to a bit of Man vs Food overindulgence as the dessert was too nice not to eat it all.

Overall, one of the best meals I've ever had - wonderful food and service and good value considering the quality. It's worth checking out Prague Lime & Tonic (a Groupon-type deal website) as Zinc are sometimes on there - I booked the 3 course offer through them but I wouldn't hesitate to pay the full price if no offers are available.

Although we will probably not be staying at the Hilton for our next trip to Prague, I will most definitely be making another reservation at Zinc.
