Where to start... Avoid at all costs!!

There was no hot water all 3 days of my stay, the same light switch operated the lights in 2 adjacent rooms which is fantastic when your neighbor comes home at 3am, the heating does not work which is nice when it's -3deg outside and you have just had a freezing cold shower, the curtains are about half a meter shorter than the window and the beds are terrible - flimsy foam mattresses, a pillow as thick as a pancake and a tiny little thin blanket. Would not put my dogs in there!

Hostel is very big, but can't handle the numbers in the rooms for hot water. None for the three nights we're here and the staff don't care. Floor of rooms needs to be swept and mopped. Web info needs to be updated, I checked and it said everything provided so did not bring towels so had to hire some, also said lockable lockers but did not state you needed to bring a padlock so had to buy one from reception. Need hot water.

Pretty good hostel, not so far from the city center (tram stop is really near the hostel, 2 trams are going directly to Old Town, underground and railway are also very close (one tram stop from the hostel). We had nice spaceous rooms, neat and clean. The staff was helpful, smily and available 24h. Breakfast available. The only minus - the water in pool was cold and so pleasant to swim.
Very quiet neighborhood. There are several mini-markets just across the street and coffee bar.
Good place to stay for several days for sightseeing.

Large clean room, hard but comfortable beds and good shower. Location out of town centre but only 5 mins from tram stop which is a 10 minute ride to the city. So cheap that it is hard to be critical of anything, however on one of our three nights noise of people shouting and doors banging went on for most of the night.

I stayed here a few weeks ago and can I just say the staff on the reception both the english girl and the south american guy helped me out so much around the city it was brilliant, didnt get lost once. She also recommended the Club Cross which was amazing!! The hostel itself was brilliant 5 euros a night with swimming pool and sauna (swimming pool was a little too cold for me though!). The rooms were cleaned everyday. Like most people have said the beds are very uncomfortable they squeek a lot but for the price i wouldnt expect a 5* hotel. Definitely recommend this place.

Room Tip: Make sure you grab a bottom bunk bed! And bring a swimsuit ;)

This place is quite reasonably priced, has friendly staff and decent communal facilities (wifi, computers, pool table, breakfast, vending machines, etc.). The rooms are a little underwhelming though. The beds aren't very good, even by hostel standards, so if you aren't an easy sleeper then perhaps reconsider.

We stayed 2 nights as part of a tour. No double room for couples, just single beds but the room was massive so it is nice to have space. No hooks in bathroom but good shower. Breakfast was the usual European breakfast of ham, bread, cheese, juice etc. Quiet at night. Laundry facilities were good. Prague is beautiful and well worth a visit, tram into town was only 20 minutes. Advise to have coins prior to getting tram tickets from machine. Free wifi in public areas - yay! Probably would stay in a hotel in town next time but if you are after a cheap and practical option it is fine and we felt safe walking around the neighbourhood.
