“Great value!”

Quite a hike out of town, but worth it. Cheap rooms, which are cheap and spacious. Good noise insulation, too. Great value food and bar. The staff are very friendly and willing to help. Can get a bit noisy with tour bus' staying there, but the rooms are protected from the worse of it.

Let me start by saying Plus Prague is absolutely massive - Busabout, TopDeck, AND Contiki ALL stay here, so it is packed, and often packed full of younger travellers.

The downfall of Plus Prague, and one of the only negatives was that it is about a 40min walk or 10 -15min tram/metro trip out of the city centre. This isn't much of a problem as transport is available all night, however the area is quiet so it can be hard to find places to eat or visit without actually heading all the way into town.

The hostel is a 10minute walk from Metro station, and a 5min walk to the 5 and 12 trams into the city.

The hostel itself is decked out with a pool, sauna, and bar/restaurant. The bar is open late (it's also massive) and there is a dance floor plus free computers with internet access. There is free wifi available in common areas. Two happy hours, and drinks are reasonable. The restaurant area has burgers, pastas, pizzas and a few Czech favourites for the equivalent of 4-8EU. This bar/restaurant is very loud and social, a good place for backpackers to meet.

The hostel rents irons, adaptors, hairdryers, towels, pretty much everything, actually.

The staff were absolutely fantastic and impeccably friendly.

Breakfast is offered for about 100CZK . This is bread, cereal, and spreads - you can pay a little extra for hot food like sausages, mushrooms and eggs.

Rooms are fairly spacious and clean, the lockers (supply own padlock) are spacious enough for your luggage, which is useful. There are also elevators.

One downside was that our room was overbooked, resulting in someone turning up to their bed late at night only to find it being slept in by someone else. Staff were apologetic and another room was offered however.

Vending machines in the lobby with sandwiches, snacks, drinks and icecreams.

Great bar called Cross Bar in walking distance. McDonalds and mini markets are also in walking distance. All shops in the area close early, and are closed on Sundays - be warned!

There is parking onsite for a small fee and the hostel is big enough that it is actually fairly quiet in the rooms - no street noise or noise from the bar.

Great value, incredibly cheap!

this hostel says its new...which is might be, but the building its in is definately not! It was an old post office l heard. If l didnt hear that l would of said an old hospital.
Our room.......23.....in the girls dorm was on the ground floor on the corner of the building facing the car park. So when the coaches came in to park, our room was in full view. Now you may think 'why dont you just shut the blinds'....well there was blinds but they only covered half the windows.

The room sleeps 8 girls, and each day the cleaners would only give us 1 toilet roll. So by the night, there was no toilet paper. Both the toilet and shower had funky smells.

If you want a good night sleep, dont come here. Its the pit stop for Contiki, Busabout and Topdeck.

reception was painfully slow every time l went there.

The hostel is a 20 minute tram ride from the Old Town, which isnt that bad. Its a nice ride to get your orientated with the place.

there is a good bar out the back in an old shed.

This hostel is good if you want to party and dont mind about the standards of living.

Good - room layout and design, restaurant and bar facilities, activities for travellers, wifi in the room, shower and toilet separated in the room, lockable storage

Bad - not close to town but only 1 tram ride and tickets sold at the hostel, no soap in the toilet

I travelled with my partner and we stayed here on out top deck trip.

The rooms were quite large, we stayed 2 nights in a 4 share. The room we stayed in had 2 single beds and a bunk bed where the bottom bunk was a double bed. There was a toilet and shower in the room that were seperate. There was no air con in the room so it was warm during the day but at night with the windows open it was fine.

The bar and restraunt were great. A pint of beer was only 29 crown (about $1.30 AUD) which was the cheapest we had seen. The food was also good. The bar had an outside area with tables and umbrellas, an outdoor beach volleyball court, pool tables, computers (free internet!) and TV's with sport on. It was a good place.

The hostel was about a 10 minute walk from the underground station which wasn't too bad and there was a tram stop about a 2 minute walk away. The area seems a bit shifty so just keep your wits about you. There was an ATM near by that made it easy to get some crowns.

We did our washing here and it was quite expensive. About 250 crown ($12 AUD) for a wash and dry.

We would stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night in a 4 bed dorm! The rooms were really spacious and clean, you didn't feel like you were living on top of each other!! The hostel has great facilities and is only a short team ride into the old town! Would definately recommend it!

This hostel is huge and is used as the Prague hostel for Contiki, topdeck and busabout so it can get quite vibrant. the rooms are basic but spacious and the layout isolates the beds well for privacy. Only 4 metro stops from cente or a 10 min tram ride, so easy to get to city. the pool is v cold so you wont use it. there is a lively bar/club out the back. you can meet ppl in the common room but it is large so prob not to much convo. Prague is v nice. I seem to prefer the smaller hostels with less than 40 ppl and cozy common area. Price is good so would stay there again but would also look at somewhere more flashpacker like.
