My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night in a 4 bed dorm! The rooms were really spacious and clean, you didn't feel like you were living on top of each other!! The hostel has great facilities and is only a short team ride into the old town! Would definately recommend it!

This hostel is huge and is used as the Prague hostel for Contiki, topdeck and busabout so it can get quite vibrant. the rooms are basic but spacious and the layout isolates the beds well for privacy. Only 4 metro stops from cente or a 10 min tram ride, so easy to get to city. the pool is v cold so you wont use it. there is a lively bar/club out the back. you can meet ppl in the common room but it is large so prob not to much convo. Prague is v nice. I seem to prefer the smaller hostels with less than 40 ppl and cozy common area. Price is good so would stay there again but would also look at somewhere more flashpacker like.

I travelled few days before Christmas. The hostel was too far from the centre of Prague. The locality was really quite. It seemed neither residential nor commercial and nowhere close to a tourist place.

At the hostel, the receptionist was very polite, friendly and helpful. The reception area looked deserted, except the staff I hardly found anyone. I stayed in a mixed dorm which seemed more of a female dorm. I was the only guy with 3 chicks. One of them was a Croatian student from some local university, another German blonde and an Australian of Asian origin. There were 2 room with 4 beds in each room. The rooms were quite clean and big. The kitchen was small but ok. There is a coffee and snacks vending machines in the reception area. When I went the swimming pool was closed. No water at all. The sauna was open though. I was the only person using it.

I joined the 3 girls I met and another Australian guy we met in the elevator. The tram station was about 3-4 minutes walk from the hostel. We went partying in the centre of Prague. By tram, it takes about 10-15 minutes to reach Palladium in the centre of Prague. In the night its a trouble getting a tram. There is only 1 tram every hour.

There are few shops and stores about 3-4 minutes if you walk straight to the right of the hostel.

Overall, if you have a small budget and don't mind travelling few minutes by tram to the centre and tourist places it is a great place.

Stayed in a 4 bed female dorm with ensuite and it was great. Clean, colourful and bedding included blankets. Each bed had its own lamp, power outlet and tiny book shelf, aswell as lockers that you could use normal travel locks on. It was all swipe access and the common room area had a friendly, relaxed feel. Staff are friendly and helpful, they sell train tickets to get into town, will exchange money and they take credit card. The amenities in the hostel are good, there is a pool and sauna, it has free wifi that is actually reliable (which can be rare with hostels) and the washing facilities are cheap. The only downside is the location, it is a bit out of town and you have to train it into the city. Also because our room overlooked the street we could hear people smoking and chatting out the front of the hostel, but if you complain to staff they will ask them to move on. Overall really good hostel that is friendly and good value.

Went in September 09 ( couldn't list that due to this review being so late ) and thought I'd like to give this place the justice it deserves. Really enjoyed my stay !

Facilities on site were awesome. Indoor swimming pool ( nippy ! ) + sauna ( not working sadly when I went ) + massive leisure room, with pool , films on the go + very cheap drinks.

Stayed in a 6 person room, which I'm unsure as to whether I'd recommend again. However this did bring costs down.

The slight downer was location. We had to catch a tram to the centre of Prague, the stops approx 200 metres away. However they run very frequently ( until the early hours also ) so don't let this put u off, just be aware of this before booking

9/10 hostel, recommend !

I'm staying in the eight bed female dorm and it's really gross. There are big black spiders around the windows. Not all of the slats of the blinds are up and the room looks straight out into the car park where there are at least six buses parked. The light streams in at night and it's impossible to sleep without an eye mask plus a piece of cloth over your face!

Plus Prague hostel was brilliant.
A swimming pool and sauna for everybodys use, a vollyball sandcourt, free internet, a bar which stayed open until 2am and ping pong table.

All this for around 8 euros a night.

The rooms were very spacious and had key card entry.

You could also buy breakfast for 100 florents which was slightly over priced but super, arkets near were very cheap.

The only thing was it is not in the best area of prague it seemed but during the day it was perfectly safe and there were clubs near which we went to that the bar staff of the hostel went and it was great.

It is a five minute tram ride into the beautiful centre of prague.
My other advice would be not to arrive at the train station at night some people hanging about looking out for travellers.

I would really reccommend prague and plus prague
