If you are up for Thai food, this is one of the best places in town to visit. There is actually also another Modry Zub which is close to Narodni Trida, which is even better... they have great sticky rice and curry!

Monday in July, around 14 30 walking the hot , wet, and crowded center of Prage when we realize we do need to it!
Surrounded by this horrible hot dogs spots, selling fat and sugar, suddenly opens up this estrange resto-bar-cocktail place.

As soon as we were seated, things were brought to us fast: Some water and the cards.
We simply browse the menu, and try 2 starters and 2 main, followed by 3 powerful charged cocktails. So lets make the comments before we got surrender by the amount of ethyl alcohol running in the blood stream.

We were not there for the deco, we were there for the food, and they have delivered it 100%
Tasty, reasonable priced, good amounts and perfect timing. Add to it smily service, and you will have a perfect Monday afternoon complete: Great tasty food, very good service, absolute drunk and a reasonable bill. We went back, with out the cocktail part, several times.Love it!

Modry Zub has the worst service, i have experienced in Prague. Living in the neighborhood i took out food from this place few times, never tried eating inside until today. We walked into a half empty restaurant and asked for a table, a very unfriendly and rude waitress without any apologies told we could only sit in the hallway , since every table in the restaurant is reserved and it was at 3pm. The attitude and rolling eyes with which she spoke to us made us feel as if we were not worthy of her attention and "the high class establishment" that she works for. Completely stunned by this sort of treatment i asked if the place was on TripAdvisor , it turned out she had no clue what it was, she grimaced once again, rolled her eyes and said something in czech to her colleague. Eventually we ate the small Vietnamese restaurant next door, looking through the window at half-empty restaurant with a waitress who hates her job.

We ate here twice in 4 days and I ate there last trip to Prague. The food is fabulous! And everything is made from fresh local ingredients. The prices are reasonable and the portions are huge. Nice selection of wines and of course Czeh beers! Servers are pleasant and helpful. It is convenient to the big shopping area Wenceslaus Square.

There are not that many Thai places in Prague and Modry zub has a great menu selection and their noodles are good, though too many of the meals are spicy, at least for me.
