If you book this hotel, check a couple of days before you go that you are still booked into it. We were told on arrival that it was double-booked and they ushered us straight out into a taxi and sent us to the Hotel Relax Inn in the back of beyond!! When I said I didn't want to go to that hotel because of where it was, she said she couldn't understand English. They had done the same to 2 people the previous day, and a lad at the hotel Relax Inn said it was a regular occurrence, so be warned!!

Stayed in hotel from 22-25 February 2013. Firstly this is a basic good value for money place to stay and very convenient to travel into city centre (tram 17) or metro which didnt use.The journey by tram takes about 12 mins approx. The room was spacious and quiet.Shower with plenty of hot water.Breakfast offered a slection of meat , cheese and sausage bread and cakes. In a nutshell if you are looking for somewhere to stay after walking around the city centre etc its ideal. The girl at reception was very pleasent and helpful ie if you are looking to arrange an excursion.

We did a package holiday and chose to stay at hotel olga, we were a bit worried about the cleanliness and overall condition of the hotel. Once we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by our large, clean and well turned out room. The staff were helpful and friendly and breakfast was a good variety of meats, cheese, breads, cereals and homemade porridge. Location is about 20mins walk to the centre but there is a tram stop right outside. The only bad things we would like to comment on is there was no mirror in main room and nowhere to hang your clothes whilst in the shower. All in all a good 7/10 for hotel olga.

Hotel - not the most important thing in Prague, as it usually use just to spend the night, and the rest of the time spend on excursions.
We chosen this hotel because of value for money. The center can be reached by tram (3 stops) or on foot (20 - 30 minutes). It is very comfortable, because all the excursions start from the city center. Hotel clean, rooms are spacious, the breakfast is very decent, cleaned every day.
I don't advise to go here in summer, because the rooms are without air conditioned, making it stuffy.

Arriving at the hotel it looks a little tired & it looked the same as we walked through the door. The welcome from the young girl in reception was a lot brighter & we were made welcome. Our room was on the 3rd floor which was accessable by either stairs or the small lift. Arriving into our room I was plesently surprised yes it was basic but it was spacious, clean it even had a TV! The bath room was the same. The only down side was when i pulled the curtains they did not meet in the middle & the double bed was infact two singles pushed together!
The hotel says its a short 15 minute walk to the centre but i found its more like 30 minutes but you can easily take the tram from the main road less than 2minutes away.
In the short time we stayed, the hotel had a new carpets in the lobby & a lovely new reception area, this really would change your first impressions.
The hotel was good value,in a pretty good position with friendly staff i would recommend staying here for a short break,

We needed a hotel that gave a clean room and a clean bathroom. That's what we got.
We also got a very simple breakfast; breads, jams and cheese, and some corn flakes for the vegetarians. If you don't spend your holiday in the hotel, this is perfect at the price.

Room Tip: Room 4 was great

Well I must say I was a little scared of what I might find after reading some reviews.
My room was very neat and clean. It is on the street side so can be a litre noisy when the window is open but thats what I expect. Bathroom was nice and roomy and clean.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was told how to get into the centre of town and given a map to help. I was also told how much and where to get a tram ticket from.
Breakfast you could give a miss and get something in the city. It was very basic but still was tasty.
Its a pleasant neighbourhood and has nice restaurants nearby.
