Description: Since 2008 the restaurant Divinis has been seeking to exceed the expectations of even the most demanding customers and understand that a truly memorable dining experience combines superb food, efficient service and comfortable, ambient surroundings made by Italian architect Luciano Belcapo/Evodecor. Our Chef Jan Kratochvil keeps the best tradition of Italian food with top ingredients and simple preparations. Daily specials are always on the peak of their freshness and are basically the freshest buys from morning market. The wine selection is primarily Italian with many very well known labels in wine industry. Open late each night, the restaurant is also perfect for post theatre dinner. The Estate theatre, State Opera, National theatre as well as other theatres are a short walk away.

This restaurant is tucked away on a side street in Prague that you need directions to find. The food was excellent and the atmosphere also hard to find in a busy city. Would highly recommend this place.

Prague is my home and Divinis is definitely one of the best restaurants in Prague. A bit pricey yet the value you get definitely corresponds to the level of service and food.

I always wanted to try this famous restaurant, so we did with my gf. I had high expectations and concerning the food, they were fulfilled but concerning the service, it's not as it should be according to the standard of this restaurant.
First of all, we arrived in the restaurant and we had to wait at least 5 minutes before someone dare welcoming us.
Then the young head waiter came and completely zapped me after he realized I am not czech and started to speak only to my czech gf but so fast that even her, could not understand what he was actually saying.
WE had to wait quite a lot between meals and the waiter we had at our table was sweating like hell. After the apperitif, he took my glass which was not finished as it always happen in a common hospoda... it should be a czech habit because it really happens all the time. You just keep the last sip of your drink to taste it after your last bite of food and hop, it's gone without you managed to say a single word....
Now, the good part of it is that the food is really tastefull, the restaurant was full, that always makes a nice atmosphere (except when you have very loud neighbors..) the menu is well balanced with seefood, italian specialities, steaks... concering the later it's not the best you could get in Prague but the Osso Bucco was delicious! The seefood starter also!
All in all it's a nice restaurant, maybe I was not lucky with the staff that particular day but I think an effort should be made here, especially for such a Prague high level restaurant.

After spending a week in Germany and and two days in Czech Republic, we needed a bit of change. We opted for what we know, Italian. This has to of been one of the best meals we have ever had including what we ate while in Italy. The service was amazing, the food second to none. We had the beet carpaccio, tagalatelli with lemon and basil, sea bass and turbot. So good.

A little hard to find but once you are there you are in for a treat. All food expertly prepared and presented and staff very attentive and helpful. A relaxing dinner in a very crowded city. Suggestion on wine was excellent also.
