I've always been intrigued by the Velvet sign painted in the corridor. So today I took the plunge and went in. The main restaurant is downstairs, and there's a non smoking section straight ahead. The waitress was very helpful and had excellent English. They also had English menus (still learning Czech). The food took a while to come out, which they apologised for, and when it arrived it didn't disappoint! I had a chicken and pasta dish, and my boyfriend had a chef's revenge. Both were delicious and we couldn't finish them. Price was very reasonable (< €15, ~300 CK), which included a pivo, glass of wine, and two main courses. Great place. Bowling alley in there somewhere too!
