Amazing how many bones were located inside the church. Well worth the trip to Kutna Hora along with other sites to see.

The decoration is exquisite but the church itself isn't as big as I thought it would be. It is certainly very humbling to view, but if you are expecting a grand church with creepy and macabre adventures within, the pictures are just as good as visiting.

You can easily do it yourself from Prague. We took the train to Kutna Hora for 192 CZK return ticket. Buy your ticket at the train station, online you're likely paying more — only one hour trip. The Ossuary is a short walk from the train station.
When you arrive in town look at the left side you see the visitor center; the ticket booth is outside.

No tickets for sale at the entrance, the entrance fee for the church cost 90 CZK
It is not an impressive place; you'll see bones and skulls hangs all over the place. Is a small church, so in less than one hour your back outside.

This is an extraordinary experience - disconcerting but incredible, and totally worth the travel to get there.

Entry is cheap as chips, and you can get a ticket that includes the beautiful old cathedral down the road.
