This tourist sight is very special. This is the reason many tourists flock to Europe. There are thousands of churches and cathedrals in Europe, but this one is truly unique. The attention to details and the splendid architecture are unparalleled. I highly recommend a visit

We took the Sandman's tour to Kutna Hora. We were surprised when we found out that we would be taking the train like the locals, not the usual tour bus. We love walking and there is a lot of it involved. I did not enjoy stopping at a bar before going to the train station but apart from that everything went well. The cathedral is beautiful, cold, the typical gothic style. I did not care too much about the explanations about the artwork but enjoyed the architecture and ambiance. The tour is not outstanding and neither are the attractions, but a nice way to spend the day.

The gothic spires are amazing. Once inside you are taken aback by the height of the ceiling, it makes you feel very insignificant. The history of the place is very interesting, work stopped by numerous wars, murials that have survived bombings.
The surrounding buildings have plenty of history too, plus they have just finished a lovely garden area .
This attraction is a hour drive from Prague.

The church and it's site is absolutely beautiful. One of the prettiest we saw in the Czech Republic. I thought it was as very interesting that most guides will tell you that CZ us the most aethist, but you will see the pride all guides have re: churches. There are a number of interesting facts that you will miss if you don't have a guide. Great photo opportunities in church (no flash) and along outside. Climb up old stone steps along bridge on the left side of church for an unbelievable view of town. Do walk along the "bridge" towards the town along the school.
