I wanted a perfect place for celebrating my mom's 70th birthday and re-uniting with my family. I have communicated my plans with the hotel management over an e-mails from Canada about 2-3 weeks before the actual stay and I was able to secure 3 suites and comfort room that was connected with one of the suites by balcony.I have selected "package Romantik" and I was not dissaponted. We have all checked in without any trouble. All rooms were ready, sparkling clean. Each room had bottle of champagne on ice ready to be served and roses invited us in. Some of us opted to have breakfast in the room, others preffered dinning room. Both choices were perfect. We have used Balneo services and relaxed in the pool, whirlpool and sauna. Everyone loved their massage treatment. Dinner was an absolute delight. Beef tenderloin could not be any better, just melting away and everything was presented in 5 star hotel manner. Everyone, from the house-keeping, restaurant staff to the Balneo specialists and lobby assistants was truly helpful and eager to make our stay as pleasant and memorable as possible. Unlike in other hotels in town, all the staff is Czech, so we did not feel like being "in little Moscow" as other travellers call Karlovy Vary. My moms birthday was perfect. Thanks to everyone at Humboldt Park hotel.
Because this hotel is located across from hotel Thermal, it is easy to walk in any direction and be entertained.
Just a hint: only comfort rooms have balcony. Suite 505 shares balcony with comfort room 506.

We stayed here for two nights to attend a wedding in a neighbouring town.

We were pleasantly surprised when we first arrived as we weren’t expecting such a lovely hotel, the staff were welcoming, friendly and extremely hospitable; the receptionist followed us outside with a bellhop trolley to collect our luggage and parked our car for us. (There is secure parking beside the hotel). The hotel is located at the top end of town (closer to the train station and the shopping area) in this sense you miss the bustling tourists at the other end of town and it was quiet at night time.

Our room can only be surprised as lush and grand!! It was definitely much bigger than we were expecting (almost a suite), with a small table in the corner by the window that over looked the main promenade. The bathroom was generously sized and the room came furnished with bath robes and slippers (to use in the spa/pool area). The bed was comfortable and we were well rested both nights.

Breakfast is a buffet-style affair, the hot food varied each morning we were there – porridge, eggs, sausage, grilled vegetables, with an assortment of cereals, breads, pastries, conserves, meats, cheeses and juice.

There Is a wellness centre on the sixth floor and our stay included free use of the spa and pool – which we made use of each morning, there are also massage and beauty therapy treatments, but we did not try these while we were there.

We had a fantastic little break and the Humboldt (and its staff!) far exceeded our expectations, we definitely recommend a visit!

The hotel is wonderful... food is good, the indoor hot tub and pool are fantastic, but the staff really makes this hotel great. When we arrived, the receptionist (who spoke fluent English) gave us a free, upgraded room. The bellman cheerfully parked our car and carried our bags for us. The entire staff was cheerful and helpful. The made the visit a tremendous experience.

Room Tip: Our room was at the front of the hotel, so we had a wonderful view. Some rooms have balconies, that's the only way to improve on the room location.

My family and I travelled from Dusseldorf to Frydek Mistek which is 1100 km by car as we have a 6 month old baby we decided to stop over at Humboldt Park Hotel & Spa Karlovy Vary. The hotel staff at reception were friendly and efficient at checkin.
My wife phoned in advance to request a cot for the baby which was ready in the room when we arrived.
The room was spacious and clean and met our expectations. We also at dinner at the hotel, the food was well presented and tasted good although a little pricey for CZ.
A pleasant stay was had by all and I would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

First, we arrived to find that our reservation had been for the previous night. Nevertheless , we were not only accommodated but upgraded. Since the hotel was on a one way street and we had no idea of how to reach a point to access it, we parked our car about .2 miles away and walked until we located the hotel. Rather than giving us directions, the staff took our rental car keys, found the car, drove it to the hotel, emptied it and brought all the luggage to the room. They then parked the car.
Our room was quite large with a balcony overlooking the street and a large, modern bathroom. On the small downside, there is only wifi in the lobby and the TV did not deliver all the promised channels, including the three in English. Overall, though, it was a wonderful experience in the old heart of a gem of a city.
