I stayed in this hotel long time ago, at that time I didn’t have enough experience of how to chose my hotel . long story short , these days that I benefit lot from TA form I felt oblige to help others avoid my same nightmare at this hotel .
I literally burst on tears after I checked in to my room. after dealing with a very unfriendly and even impolite receptionist who where not speaking a word of English and where not even offering a pen to fill in my check in card ! and lots of other details which made me feel I am checking myself in a prison !!
The room was so depressing , and when I came down at 7:30 PM asking where is the hotel restaurant , I have been informed that the restaurant close at 7: 00 pm !!
And when I asked further information about where can I eat , the receptionist just look at me and went to other side of front desk !!!
The hotel was essentially a hospital for elderly people who were here for treatment and trophies !! I didn’t notice a child or young couple during my stay .
I can not describe it in words how rude the staff where during my stay . and overall the hotel felt exactly like a prison/mad house/ hospital !! even one morning in breakfast area they approached me and impolitely asked me to change my sit and when I inquired about it they told me that this is the way they manage the restaurant to keep different category of guest separated !!!!
I believe they meant healthy people from Sick elders !
I never meet a staff smiling at me or even reply to my smile during my stay !!
Should I keep on going ??
Plz plz plz stay away of this hotel , you know what is the worth part is ? I don’t think management of this hotel even care about my bad review or any other bad reviews at all !! as long as sick elderly guest keep coming ! .

I was there for one night, and my feeling is not good. This hotel is not good. if you are in Karlovy Vary you can try another one. I know that price seems nice (66 EUR for double), but the rest is very disgusting. Only two things are good, rooms and pool...Pool has "name" and rooms are after renovation...thats all..
Stuff is unfriendly, "entertiment" is real poor and restaurants and bar closed at 22. TV selection is average. Hotels seems like from late 70s, only nice garden is around. This hotel needs renovation and better services. Much better.

Goods:
clean rooms
pool with view

Bads:
Parking is outside and it cost about 200CZK per day and there is no posibility to pay it together with your hotel bill.
stuff is unfriendly
restaurants are really poor

Goods/Bads:
hotel is not overpriced, sometimes there are good deals

I was there and it is not my cup of tea...

I stayed in TERMAL resort for 2 weeks, within this short amount of time, the safe in my hotel room was robbed for money and all my jewelry. It was opened while i was out of the room and closed afterwards, i was missing about 9 thousand dollars worth of things. Police was called and nothing could be done because there was no solid evidence.

Cant say I loved the service much either, when i spoke to the General director Mr Neufus he didn't seem to care much, he was actually Very rude&offensive. Did not want to discuss my issue, made it clear he was not interested in listening to the situation at hand. Also i would like to say be careful with nurse Judita Reichova, she came off to be a very angry woman, the type that can possibly drive you to hysterics. You do need her though, she is the lady in charge of scheduling all the procedures.

The hotel itself was nothing special, not the four star rating i was expecting. The food there was very cheap, not in the sense of inexpensive more like bad quality. You had to pay for tea and coffee, otherwise you would be stuck with tap water. Would i ever return? No, would i advise anyone to go there, also a no.

Stayed here for 2 nights in August 2007. The hotel is a bit of a 70s monstrosity in the middle of some beautiful buifldings in the town and even though there has cleary been money spent on upgrading it still has a very 70s look and feel about it.

On the positive side it was generally clean, room/bathroon was modern, balcony overlooking the town, staff were helpful and it is close to the sites of the town and numerous restaurants. Plus it has its own open pool (not free) accessed though a walkway and lift (its also open to the public).

Not much choice for breakfast and often a bit of a wait for the lifts - one was out of action while we were there.

Overall this is very much a "tour party" 3 star hotel, but was ok for a short stay.

Stayed for one night with my boyfriend. We knew it was a hideous-looking building but the pool appealed to us. We arrived an hour after check-in, got our room keys and headed off to our room. Entered the room and it hadn't been cleaned so we went down to reception and told the girl at the desk. She immediately went on the offensive (as if she was used to complaints) and explained there were no other rooms and we would have to wait an hour. We didn't mind waiting but we did mind not receiving an apology. She told us there weren't enough cleaners. I can't see what that has to do with us!

The hotel's interior is so dated it could be retro-modern! Check out the chairs in the lobby and at each of the floors if you stay here. We didn't even go in the pool as it didn't open until 9am on the Sunday morning, by which time we were up and out.

Overall, a cheapish hotel for those on a budget, but definitely not worth the 4* grading.

Nobody else has posted a review for this hotel, so I might as well. I stayed here with my boyfriend for four nights in mid-july. The hotel is unmissable in Karlovy Vary as it's the biggest and ugliest building in town. The lobby is very seventies and a bit sterile, but that's ok. Our room on the 8th floor looked just like in the pictures and was a decent size with a view of the pool. This is very helpful for knowing when there are the least people in there!

It was scorching hot while we were there, but our room was on the shady side and the window opened, so it was never too hot in there. We used the pool every day and it is truly lovely. It's in a separate building up the hillside and there's a special elevator from the hotel that runs there diagonally. Very interesting.

The hotel is a spa-facility and there are obviously a lot of people who come there to lose weight. The breakfast is thus a bit special. There are two different breakfastrooms, one for regular hotel guests, and one for those on a diet plan. Make sure you go in the right one (the green one).

The location is great. It's right between the old town and the newer town, and everything is easy walking distance. We had a perfectly ok stay here, the ambience perhaps a little lacking, but the pool fully making up for it.
