“Does not worth the money you pay”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

First of all , they tried to scam us saying that thy didn't have student's discount until we show them their own brochure. Student's price is half of the normal price: 60kk that you can by tour in czech german´russian or english language, however there are a few tours in english during the working hours.Besides the shop that they took you at the end of the tour is overpriced in that neighbourhood. We found a market just 100 metre away straight to same street(near a3 sport) in which the price of 1 liter becherovka was 250 which is far less than the price in the shop.

“Becherovka”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

Becherovka is my favorite liqueur. It is made from many herbs, they keep recipe secret. The museum is great, you can see how they made it in the last centuries in the underground directly in the city center. They moved the factory just few years ago. Its just few meters from the main city bus station Trznice, a tour ticket costs 150 CZk and includes a degustation :) A must go place. Tours are in English, German, Russian and Czech as well. “A must-do when in Karlovy Vary”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

As Becherovka lover, I had to see this museum when I visited Karlovy Vary / Karlsbad. The museum is in the place where the factory used to be until 2010. There is a display of various scenes, illustrating different moments in the history of the herb liquor. Very new, very 'clean' (a bit artificial perhaps), well organized. The concluding film is lightened by three Becherovka samplings. All this for a modest price.

“good tasting”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

The guide didn't speak English very well. But she was very friendly. It's a small museum so don't expect to much. But it is interesting. Best part was the tasting ;-)
