The wide range of fish dishes available makes a change from the standard heavy Czech fare served up in most restaurants in this charming spa town. Just some 10 minutes walk from the town centre and located in a historic building on the shores of a little lake, the restaurant could be a nice destination to end up for lunch or dinner after a walk through the spa woods. Service was very friendly and attentive, if rather slow - the restaurant was very full on the Saturday lunchtime we were there. Fish dishes are prepared in classic Czech style, no gastronomic surprises here and no concessions to more modern approaches to restaurant cooking or presentation. The food was moderately-priced to expensive by local standard, there was a good choice of local wines, and a complimentary digestif was offered with the bill. There is a terrace outside which could make a pleasant alternative to the folky interior decor in warmer weather.
