Just amazing. Lots of history. Dating back to 12-13th centuries. Had a tour guide. She spoke Czech, English and German and was very knowledgeable. Very impressive. The Rose garden is something else. Could walk there every day. Must see.

Even Decin is a nice small czech city, there are not too many things to visit here. The castle is one of them. A nice rose garden belongs to the castle, it's worth to visit it as well.

Didn't go inside the castle. But the outside, the gardens around it and especially the rose garden are beautiful! You can easily just wander around this place and sit down on one of the little benches. Nice place! Walk a little further to a very nice parc, with a view of the castle. Also very nice view from the bridge next to it and from the white restaurant on top of the hill accross from the castle.

Decin Castle is beatuful castle, but way to it may not be easy for older people. There are many stairs and hills. You may walking in park and one of the part of area of castle is rosy garden (you need to pay for entrance). Rosy garden is very small, but the main idea of this garden is sculptures. Look at them, when you will be there. In castle you may have spacial program for children with Black Knight. I think that it is very good and interesting place!
