When walking through the wonderful streets of the historical Český Krumlov you see tourists pulling their heavy pieces of luggage, and hear the wheels tacking the cobblestones. This won't happen with the Hotel Vltava. A car or bus will bring you right to the entrance. Advantage of the remote places? Yes and no. Advantage stays, remote not. It's just five minutes to the historical streets, two minutes to the central bus stop, and if you know the shortcuts, you are at the Eggenberg brewery within four minutes, and in less than ten in the castle. Hotel Vltava is located in the quiet area, no bars nearby, no night shows all over. Great for a good sleep. It's not the luxury hotel but clean, front desk works fast and well.

Room tip: All rooms are same.

I'm not a picky traveller, I don't need luxury. This hotel is only okay. The walls are super thin so you can hear everyone. my room was a smoking room (i don't smoke) so it really stank of old smoke enough to bother my sinuses and make my eyes water. the staff were friendly enough but the thing I really can't get past is the collection of mold on the walls/ceiling. There was some in the bedroom and in the bathroom. Really nasty. I had to sleep with my windows open to get some fresh air and was woken up very early by someone using a weed whacker outside though i don't know if that has to do with the hotel or not.

This hotel was fine.
Nothing fancy but i think one of the cheapest in the city. Its not far away from city center. Bedroom was small but clean. Bed was ok...there were missing night tables it was replaced by chair...
Bathroom was new and clean.
Only big cons was that in this hotel u can easily hear the others people noise and wifi not strong.
The breakfast was nice :)
