Check in was done by the host's (Milan) daughter who spoke very good english. She told me the price quoted on Booking.com was wrong. I would only be charged 90 euros for two nights instead of 134 euros. This was a nice start to the stay. I stayed in apartment 2. The room had an actual queen size sleigh bed. I'm not sure where they found it in the Czech Rep. It was great to have a big bed without the seam in the middle. The room itself was good size with a flat screen TV and stocked mini fridge. The bathroom had a good size shower tube with rainbird shower head. Milan is an excellent cook and he likes to show off his culinary skills at breakfast. The breakfast was huge the first morning. Fried eggs with ham. Were talikng at least 4 eggs. Then a pancake with a fruit filling with chocolate sauce and whipped cream on the side. I didn't need lunch. The second morning I just went with the scrambled eggs and ham, Milan was a happy go lucky guy, always smiling and making sure you were taken care of properly. The pension is located less than a minute walk from the castle. The pension provides coupons to a couple of restaraunts (Papas and Pod Nadnice). I liked both but would give the nod to Papas.
