Stopped here for lunch because of its Trip Advisor rating and we were not disappointed. The location is right on the river and we had a beautiful sunny spring day and sat out side along the river. The food was spectacular from the tomato soup, to the turkey breast baked in pastry with blue cheese and mustard cream sauce , culminating with Pilsner and sprite! Everything hit the spot and moans and groans could be heard around the table. The cost was so reasonable and that just solidified the Excellent rating for this place... Location, food and price !!!!!!

The Papas Living Restaurant is a good restaurant in which provides czech style yummy gourmet food. The ribs made from the restaurant was nice, whileas the risotto, spaghetti, salad and lasagne was well made and freshly made to be savoured nicely. The service was good, they treated us and other people friendly. The ambience was very nice, we sat outside of the restaurant and the magnificent views of Cesky Krumlov can be seen through the river. The price was reasonable and great gourmet food really delighted our taste buds all the way. The service fee at the end, is not included, and you pick the right amount of tip to give to the restaurant after the meal.

The food was fine. Compared to European standards average and what you would expect from a place with such a high price level - maybe they could even have taken it to a next level.
Situated by the river gives a sweet place to eat though the furniture was more practical than stylish.
The staff was not really attentive - we had to after a good while there to ask for the menu ourselves. And they didn't really get all up in gear while we were there. To bad - we like to hang out for coffee and dessert if treated well.
So fine food in the pricy end with service under average.

Stylish restaurant by the river with terrace and friendly staff. We had very tasty roastbeef, which was one of the best ever. Pizza wasn´t that good. Ingredients on it did not save a bit tasteless dough. I would reccomend it, but try anything than a pizza.

The restaurant is in a great spot on the river and not far from the castle. I decided to try the Wild Boar with Rosemary from the specials board. The meat was delicious, tasty, tender and cooked to perfection. The mashed potato was creamy and tasty, and dare I say the best I've had. The Rosemary sauce also complimented the meal very well. The staff were very polite indeed and the service was good. I would recommend this place.
