Just stayed two nights at this pension, was very enjoyable. I loved the house, it is full of character and interesting displays. The owner says many of them are actually antique! TThe room is comfortable, again with unique bed settings. Everything with the house is just lovely, so is the owner, a really nice guy! High recommendation! 这栋房子跟整个城镇一样,淳朴而有特色, 像个安静可以让人休息的博物馆,推荐!

We stayed here in mid-June for two nights. It was centrally located and we liked the fact that it was off the beaten path (very few tourists walked up/down the street/alley it was on). Very clean with a nice bathroom although it lacked a shower which we would have preferred over the large bathtub. We had a nice view of the castle from our window. I read one review that mentioned they had to strain their necks to see the castle, but that really wasn't true. It was only a bit to the left when looking out the window...I guess they wanted the castle view smack in the middle of the window...lol. Breakfast was ok/good. Vladimir was a great host. As other reviewers have mentioned, he'll pick you up at the parking lot and then bring you back when you leave. He doesn't live there but was fairly available. If you couldn't find him at the B&B during the day, he was at his antique shop about 50 yards from the B&B. His mother was very nice. Lastly, his restuarant recommendations were right on! We highly recommend this B&B and would stay there again.

We stayed one night at Pension Nostalgie in Cesky Krumlov. Both the accommodation and the town were delightful. Our hosts were very accommodating (we left our luggage with them for the day whilst we explored the town) and breakfast was excellent. Our room was lovely and snug, with a little window framing a beautiful view of the amazingly decorated castle. We took three guided tours - a general one of the town, a detailed one of the Josef Seidel Photo Museum and another at the Eggenberg Brewery - all the guides were first rate and all three tours were very informative. We walked out legs off, ate in some amazing places and drank our fill of good, very cheap beer. If only we'd had longer to enjoy this beautiful part of the Czech Republic.

My fiance and I stayed for 1 night at Pension Nostalgie and absolutely loved it! The room we had was on the "ground floor", but due to the location of the Pension, which was situated on a slope, it was seemed high off the road and very comfortable. There is no air-con, which we were slightly worried about since we were staying there in the first week of July ... but NO PROBLEMS AT ALL! Cesky Krumlov (and I guess the rest of the Czech Republic really) was very cool in the evening. We kept the windows open and there was no problems with noise because the pension is situated in a quiet street, but still very conveniently located within 3-minutes from the town square and info centre.... and maybe around 8-minutes max from the main bus station.

Room was just like a room at home ... very clean, cozily decorated, a large double bed ... a table on the other side, closet, etc. Bathroom was super clean (cleaner than most hotels!). But since this is a pension, don't expect amenities like toothbrushes and slippers.

Breakfast was provided - bread, cheese, ham, yogurt, fruit juice ... simple, but tasty and felt very at home.

The pension is run by Vladimir and his mother I believe. We only met Vladimir, and I have to say he's absolutely the sweetest man we've at while travelling in the Czech Republic. Spoke good English and was very helpful with suggestions on where to visit, etc, and also with how we were to leave our bags with him after check-out.

By far one of the most pleasant experiences we've had and will not think twice to come back again and stay at this pension!!

Room Tip: There are only 3 rooms at this pension. The 2 on the ground floor are smaller, and the one on the u...

Pension Nostalgie is a cute little place decorated in antiques, so that each room is unique. We rented two rooms, one of which was supposed to have a castle view. I was a little disappointed that you had to stand at one side of the window and crane your neck a bit to see the castle, but, in reality, we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. Vladimir came to pick us up at the bus station (which was greatly appreciated), but then disappeared very rapidly. I don't think we experienced the same hospitality that others talk about. The rooms were large and very comfortable. Although it wasn't our favorite lodging of the trip, we would certainly recommend this pension to others.

Pension Nostalgie is a great place to stay when visiting the old town of Cesky Krumlov. It is in a quiet side street, and the room we had, looked out at the castle tower on the other side of the river. The room was large, clean and comfortable and the bathroom was perfect for our 3 day stay. Breakfast was wonderful and the help we received from Vladimir when we left was amazing. We had booked to travel to Prague on the train but Vladimir recommended going on the bus - it was 2 hours quicker, a lot more comfortable and not expensive (which was all true!). Because it was a last minute change, he drove us to the bus station. Getting out of the car I realised I had left my camera behind in the room. Vladimir said "no problem" and quickly drove back, picked it up and then delivered it to the bus in time, as we were ready to leave. Outstanding service - thank you Vladimir!

Cesky Krumlov is a gem! - my fifth visit! Check Tourist info for Rotating Theater programme!
This is our third visit to Nostalgie - great loaction, lots of smiles, they are very helpful, however, retreat to give you your space. Breakfast - normal continetal! Very clean - lots of space. Once again enjoyed the trip. Parking is a little out of town - in Brewery Car Park - nothing to complain about - Eggenberg Beer proved a favourite. Recomend (short) raft trip couple of beer stops - might try long canoe trip next time.

Room Tip: Only three to choose from Apartment spacious but more expensive other rooms both good
