Loved the 16/17th century buildings, well deserved as a UNESCO world heritage site! There's no hotel in this town but they have small inns, have to book in advance in the peak season!

We loved Cesky. So much to see.....the castle is amazing. Just wandering the streets is fun but there are many worthwhile tours also. Very picturesque and much more affordable than some European cities. It is the second most visited city in the Czech republic and with good reason. It is really a hidden gem.

It is an experience just taking the small diesel train to this town. You can walk into town but with luggage we caught a taxi which only took a couple of minutes. The town is the most picturesque I have ever seen. Beautiful views from the castle as well as lovely restaurants.

I had to stay there for two days and was firstly disappointed . I was like "What will I do for two whole days in such small city?" But it's just amazing! It's small, compact and cozy! The old town is like frozen in time - when you walk around - you get to Middle ages.
Small street with cobblestone road, old buildings, the river which surrounds the old city center and the castle with amazing bridge and tower! Not all tourist know but right across the street from the castle is castle park. If you have time - you can have a quite walk there!
The city is very beautiful and truly unique! Don't miss it! Don't miss anything while being there!

I loved the traffic-free cobblestone streets, the market in the square, the aesthetic appeal of the wonderful old buildings and way the castle and its amazing tower dominate the town.
