“Charming Hotel in a Beautiful Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2013

We had a five-night stay here and honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. Our room was charming, immaculately clean and beautifully decorated - sympathetic to and inkeeping with the town - and with a gorgeous view overlooking the gardens. It's in an ideal location for exploring the town, close enough to the main drag but not so close that you get any noise from the endless stream of tourists coursing through the town every day!
The staff there are great and always happy to help, but be warned that reception closes at 7pm so you're pretty much left alone with only a list of emergency contact numbers should you need any assistance. It's an odd arrangement for a hotel but not really a problem.
In all, we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay there again.

The place is lovely, the town is absolutely beautiful. Have seen the other reviews and cannot add anything else to this, except that I found the person at the desk very helpful. As I was traveling with a granddaughter who needed rest and we do not speak the language their help was invaluable! Made our stay great.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villa Conti. It was tucked away from a main street, but still walking distance to everything. Our room was on the first floor and looked onto the street (away from the town centre). It was very quiet and the room was huge with a lovely big four-poster bed. We did not have a balcony on room, despite what another reviewer has said, but the windows sufficed.

The breakfast provided is excellent. There is a good range of choices, from cereals, many types of bread/bread rolls, cheeses, cold cuts and the host made the softest, creamiest scrambled eggs I have tasted. We did not have a huge budget while travelling, and we found Villa Conti to be very well worth the visit.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. The location is very good, at the historical center of the city. Very frendly and helpfull staff. The rooms are good size, but very dark, there was not enough light. There is a big bath, but only hand shower (you need to hold the shower the whole time), and that is pretty annoing. There is a small refrigerator in the room. Nice breakfast.

I had a decent stay at this hotel in October 2012, amazing pick-up service from Karlovy Vary, where the driver was very friendly and informative, great personal attention by the receptionist at the hotel, yummy food and a lovely room. My only reason for rating this hotel low is the fact that it got deserted after breakfast! There was nobody in the hotel to turn to, once the receptionist left after breakfast. As I was travelling alone, this hotel didn't have any other guests staying over while I was there and the entire place was empty with no staff/ owner etc in it except me! It was a little scary but I survived.
There was a couple whom I met while sight-seeing and were looking for a place to stay in. Unfortunately, because there was no one in the hotel, they just noted down the number and left. I saw them check-into a different hotel later in the evening. Cesky Krumlov is so tiny and beautiful that you could walk up and down the street without missing out on the little gems and fellow travellers doing the same.
Overall, this is a nice hotel but I would prefer staying in a more lively place than this one.

Very nice small hotel, rooms are jsut the right size with a nice bathroom. Our room was facing the gardens which was very pretty and quiet. We didn't make it for breakfast because we stayed up very late and prefered sleeping a bit longer. Be aware that there is no service in the night, the receptionist will give you your own key from the whole hotel. It is a nice hotel with a very good location - not too far from the city center. I would come back again.

Room Tip: Get the propriate directions from the hotel before you arrive to the city.

This hotel was booked after reading good reviews on TripAdvisor and all 3 couples were not disappointed. Cesky Krumlov is a beautiful small town with quaint, stunningly beautiful houses which are typically small as is Hotel Villa Conti. However, what it lacks in size is certainly made up with character, charm and style. This hotel has been tastefully designed to offer good quality rooms with an excellent breakfast each morning. We advised the hotel that it was our friends 50th and 55th birthday and they kindly gave them a fantastic room with a Queen size 4-poster bed. We travelled from Prague to Cesky Krumlov by train which was a great wat to get there.
