We called in here on a trip up to the Otway fly on the advice of some people we ran into on a walking trail and so glad we did. We needed a coffee and a bit of advice about what to do in the area. The building is very unassuming and would be easy to miss but once you get inside the food is incredible. The owner, Sue, I think, runs the place on her own and hand makes everything, even the relishes and sauces. We sampled some cakes and a quiche but would loved to have had lunch as the pies and slices looked delicious. Make sure you don't miss this place as the food is beautiful and the prices very reasonable.

Called in late in the afternoon and had the most amazing meal. Local produce, relishes and pickles made on site. Would have loved the time to visit again. Incredible view across the valley from the ridge line.

Having driven around the beautiful area of the Otways , the fact that we stumbled across the Ridge cafe made our trip even more memorable. Located at the top of the Otways, basically in the middle of no where, 5mins from the Otway fly, the Ridge cafe was an oasis. The home made gnocchi is to die for. Great coffee, spectacular views, friendly service and great food make this cafe a must do for any traveller to this region.
We will be back.

Food was ok, the scenery was stunning, but coffee was very very poor and lacked liquid (was mostly foam) and we burnt our tongues.

The food was great between the five of us we tried the burger ( massive and impressive) salmon bruschetta, veggie pastry with salad, Thai trout salad, flour less chocolate cake. All were winners one of our travellers had a restricted diet and this cafe cope with it well. The views are unique and go for miles. The friendliness was enticing. I sought advice on an alternative route back to Apollo Bay and was thoughtfully advised with a recommendation of a stopping point that was by a river with a plantation of American redwoods. We sought out the cafe based upon their brochure , I have driven by the sign twice before without any consideration, I will now return because there is magic beyond that sign on the hill.
